    It's hard to pick just one. I love tomato soup with grilled cheese...can't have one without the other.

    For soup alone, I guess cabbage soup (cabbage, carrots, ground beef, kidney beans).

    I also like french onion and cream of potato.

      Try this. Small can of tomato sauce, use the can to measure 1/2 to one full can of heavy cream (adjust it to your tastes), 1-2 tsp of brown sugar (or adjust to your tastes), dash of garlic powder, sprinkle of Italian herbs. Heat it up on the stove or microwave but keep an eye on it because the cream can scald easily. It's soooo much better than canned soup. Even just making Campbell's with heavy cream and a bit of seasonings makes it a million times better.

        I bet you would love the cream of tomato soup in puff pastry from Bistro Jeanty in Yountville, CA. It is absolutely incredible.
