i voted scratching that itch, because i figured it was a euphemism for masturbating.

I wish letting out a guffaw was part of my daily routine! :D I guess it does happen most days, but it's not a routine as in "12:30, it's time for my daily guffaw!". I'd love it if it was though, that'd be hilarious.

The feeling just after having had a shower in the evening, when I'm clean and fresh (but not cold) and relaxed. I like that. That only happens every two or three days, but it's good. Taking off my shoes is the best when it's been raining and I've had to walk home in them, but thankfully that is definitely not a daily experience :)

Lol, I'm going to actually try that! See if I can drive people crazy by laughing at seemingly-random times.

I'm male and I've worn a bra as an experiment. If I was female, this would be the best part of my day too. Wearing it was like being in a cage!

Aww, you put my answer in your options! That made me really happy for some reason. I voted "taking of my shoes". It's the first thing I do when I get home, and the first answer to pop into my head. Although, I love every single option you've put. I just voted on the one that feels the most "routine" to me. I like getting dressed and undressed too. And putting on make up, and brushing my hair.

If I'm thinking about things that I do on pretty much a daily basis, but don't feel "routine", I'd probably say crying with laughter, which is always great. Or walking to or from the bus stop. The sky is so unbelievably gorgeous this time of year (or any, really:P), and so are the trees and fields and clouds. Ahh, nature makes me very happy indeed.:)

A lot of people put "falling asleep" but I like waking up in the morning. Not because I have to get up, but my bed always feels cozier in the morning...

I picked leaving the house because it sounded the funniest. Since it just screams you want to get the hell out of there.

I like that moment where you get home after being in the frigid cold for some time. When lighting a candle seems to bring you warmth. Where you get to undress in order to get warm under blankets with a heater nearby. I love the cold weather as long as I know warmth is achievable. I'll jump in the snow and roll around without a coat on if I know I can readily run inside, undress, and plummet into a sea or warm blankets.

Making my coffee. There's honey on the bottom, coffee made from the press in the middle and heavy whipping cream that was blended into whipped cream on the top. The end result is beautiful.

Cooking. I'm inspired by the Asian and Hispanic women who spend 24 hours on a dish and, because I'm off work at the moment, I get to do it. I have a bowl of ten different dried beans, pulses, lentils in my fridge that are soaking overnight and a bowl of vegetarian sausage that is marinating in red wine, chillies and paprika (to make it taste like chorizo). Tomorrow lunchtime with more red wine and veggie stock they'll come together to become a slow-cooking stew along with more red wine, chillies, veggie stock, and finished with fresh herbs and yoghurt on top by about 4pm just as it's going dark here and it's going to be served with freshly baked bread which I'll make tomorrow morning.

The dish started at 6pm today and will be eaten at 4pm tomorrow. The only thing missing is that I made enough for two and I currently have nobody else to eat the other half of it. Volunteers accepted. I promise it'll be really nice. Even if you're used to eating meat.

The best part is the anticipation. I just refreshed the water for the beans because it goes cloudy overnight and they've all plumped up. The sausage is now bright red from the paprika and wine. I'll be looking forward to this all day!

I hope the end result is a pleasant experience. Probably one of the worst things about cooking has to be having high expectations and then getting disappointed by the taste. Like today for my lunch, I tried out some nori. I soaked it in a bowl of water for a quite some minutes and then I rinsed it off. I had intended to make sushi out of it, but I made the mistake of soaking it too long. The sheet had come apart so I tried baking it in the oven. When, I took it out it was stuck to the foil. It wasn't burnt, it was very sticky and I put in my rice. The smell was very fishy and the texture was extremely slimy. It was disgusting! I do want to try it again, but next time I'll soak it for less and try frying it.

Alas, my plans didn't work out, either. Because it's so cold in my place, the beans wouldn't take on the water so they didn't soften properly overnight. My meal ended up as veggie sausage slices baked with chilli and served in a tomato and cheese sauce. It was nice but too rich. It needed some pasta or something.

At least half my experiments fail. But I guess that's how we learn.

P.S. I've had nori problems too. Plus I don't like the flavour so the fish or rice has to have a strong flavour to cover it. I've taken to using vine leaves like the Greeks do.

I honestly hadn't thought about it so I won't be doing anything special. I do have some pannacotta gelato in the freezer though which won the award for best ice cream in the world a couple of years ago. I keep meaning to put some in coffee and have an affogato with it, so I might try that.
