Haha, mine feels like a bit of a lame choice because it's not a proper "gamer" thing or whatever, but I don't really care. Urbz on the DS:P. It's really fun for me, and I've had it since I was 11. I'm all sentimental about it. It's like the Sims, but sort of quirky, I guess. Your goals/aims aren't normal ones. Like when Bayou Boo gets turned into a vampire and you have to feed him chocolate to cure him. Or when you have to stop Daddy Bigbucks from controlling the whole town, and then stop Diddy by turning into the pet you spliced. I had a Unicorn and a Gorilla.:) And pretending to be a Pirate:D! Oh, fun times! Ahh, I want to play it again now.
The Legend of Zelda. Oot, MM, WW, it doesn't even matter which one. They're all amazing.
My favorites are from The Elder Scrolls series (I play Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. I don't have a favorite one). I love the large worlds, the lore, the freedom you have and the mods.
Well, I like Vice City Grand Theft Auto, Final Fantasy VII (7), Final Fantasy VII (7) Crisis Core, Spyro, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom of Hourglass, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Mario Party DS, Super Monkey Ball 3D, My Sims (DS, not on-line one, the kid one that is kid 10+), Untold Legends, Final Fantasy (the first one, I have it), Frogger, Supersmash BRO. Brawl (Mario), and a few other games. I like this MMORPG and it's called Runescape. I don't really play these games at all anymore, and I didn't play them a lot, but they were pretty fun. Oh also I like Modern Warfare 2 (MW2), MW3, Skyrim (OMG I found over 300 places, I quit Skyrim, because the PS3 is in the living room/ it's in my brothers room, and they won't let me use it), I also like Halo, because it was fun to watch my bro play it, I never really played it though. I like COD too. Oh BTW I'm a girl, 13 of age... MW2 was really fun, I laughed when I killed like 8 guys with this bombing gun... I think it was called a RPG. I don't remember, lol, but it was funny. I was pretty good too, but yeah, lol I quit.
The Legend of Zelda series in general, my favorite game being Ocarina of Time.
I'm sorry, but i gotta go with The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, IV: Oblivion, or V: Skyrim. The series always revolutionized video gaming, in every console generation it was in.
TES: Oblivion, Metro 2033, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-Series, Myst V, Half-Life 2; so many truly great games, it's hard to decide my favorite one.
Fallout new vegas
I played throught that game 7 times
God the fun i had with that game, and the annoyance when it froze and i had to reset my xbox, it thought me to save frequently
I have more than one favourite but all of them are from Final Fantasy series.
Pokémon Silver; although it isn't an RPG in a realistic sense it's still literally a "role-playing game".
Yep, they made up the second generation (along with Crystal, which had a fancy translucent blue and glittery cartridge). I had Silver and my brother had Gold, then we bought Crystal together with our saved-up pocket money just for the thrill of having all the games. I played those early Pokémon games for hours, they were so brilliant. We had the first generation games too, but it wasn't until the second that really I fell in love with the franchise.
I never got to play the original series but I did get the remakes. Firered/Leafgreen and HeartGold/SoulSilver. I like when they bring back the older games on newer platforms but as as always, I would do better on one version then other.
I got FireRed and SoulSilver too, but SoulSilver was the first time I bother to didn't finish a Pokémon game. I just got bored with it for some reason, maybe because I enjoyed the original Silver so much. If I still have it I should find it and play it again :D
I'm excited for when the new generation, X and Y, come out because they look like they've played around with the graphics enough to make the games interesting, which hopefully means they haven't messed around with the mechanics and the gameplay too much. I liked the simplicity of the early games, and when they added too many additional mechanics like Poffins to make the games seem more interesting it felt to me like some of the simplicity was corrupted (however, I could just be a Pokémon snob :P). There were also fun glitches like Glitch City (which is what it sounds like) and MissingNo. ("The Glitch Pokémon") and the Kangaskhan with Fly (which is also what it sounds like) in the original Blue/Red games, which the developers were too clever for in the later games but I loved; finding them was like finding Easter Eggs.
Weren't Poffins introduced in Ruby/Sapphire or am I thinking of something else? I remember in R and S you could make these "snacks" in the competition buildings. They would effect a Pokemon's stats for a pageant.
You are lucky that you got play the games that contained the glitches. What do you think of the "Curse of Lavender Town?
I do wish that for future games, they would make the gameplay more interactive. It would be very nice if they would let players let their Pokemon outside of their balls like they do in the anime. A higher level of detail like they have in consoles games. I think a easier system with the berries would be very helpful. In games like Ruby and Emerald, I repeatedly made the mistake of picking berries and not planting one as a replacement. With the berries I had I often use all of them and then when I really needed them, it was impossible to find more of the variety. Growing the berries took a ridiculous amount of time and in those games the concept of day and night hadn't been introduced. Therefore, time never really changed. You could beat five gyms and still not really now if a "day" had changed. Once the tree had fully grown, all you would get in return for your hard work was a small amount of produce. Fertilizer made them grow faster but the fertilizer was expensive.
I feel like the console Pokemon games really changed things up. They were more edgier than their handheld counterparts. The concept of "Shadow Pokemon" was brilliant. The plot had people in poverty, "conspiracies" and ecological problems. As much as I liked XD: Gale of Darkness, I was disappointed on some things. 1. There was a lack of places to go to. I would've liked a more in depth look at Orre Region. 2. It had the same villains and Team Snag'em was almost pathetic. 3. The Purifying Machine in the Lab took all the hard work and fun out of the process of purifying the Shadow Pokemon. In Colosseum, in other to properly progress you had to take time to unlock the way to that SP's heart. In XD, it became too easier and somewhat irritating to do it the old fashioned way and it was pointless to keep the both the lab system and the Relic Shrine.
Another thing is that I wish they would make it easier to get Master Balls instead of just eating the number at one. It would be very convenient to have more especially since the newer games are added more rare Pokemon.
Wait… so you're asking ME what MY favourite video game is, but it "has to be a [sic] rpg"? How about you go fuck yourself?
Just finished playing Fable 2, got from top good points to max bad points, then donated 1 Million gold to a beggar and got 10K good points again, got a halo :3. Speaking of halos, my all time favorite game is Halo! Not like you guys could tell :P.
And might I say what a wide selection of games you have there!

I only really like Fable due to Reaver.
