    I'm so picky with comedies, that I would never actually spend my money to go to the theaters to see one because, to me, if it's not funny then it must be annoying. the kind of comedies I like are really stupid stuff, like the kind of things Will Ferrel plays in, and of course I like "Fam Guy", "South Park"...all that satire, but if it isn't something that is ridiculous and goofy, then I'd never actually waste my time with it.

    ...Oh, and I like dark comedy too, though, but I usually get my laughs from that when I watch horror films. What is meant to be scary is actually very hilarious :D

    A list in no praticular order:

    Survival horror.

    Action/crime, especially ones about two friends/partners working together as criminals. An example would be the film "The Way Of The Gun".

    Comedy, but not the romance comedies, never those.

    Horror/ action and sci-fi/action all the way!!! And then it's horror, fantasy, fantasy/action (but that goes up there with horror/action and sci-fi/action) and sci-fi. Pretty much anything that Sy-Fy channel is willing to show :)

    I really enjoy sci-fi or fanatsy action/adventure films, but I'm also a nerd with a deep love of well-done historical films. I also like old, classic musicals, like the ones from the 40's and 50's with the really elaborate costumes and big dance numbers. I'm such a girl. (>_<)

    Foreign.

    I've lost patience with most British-language films. Comedies that aren't comedic, thrillers than aren't thrilling, sci-fi that is so flawed, derivative and painful to watch that it makes my teeth itch.
