    80s music was best long hair, spandex and lot of guitar solo.so many beautiful woman love these bands love ballet's. Born in 60's party hard in the 80's, we were living the dream!!!!

    Electro, Synth Pop, New Wave, early Hip Hop, Chicago House/Acid, Detroit Techno, Thrash Metal, Hardcore Punk, Italo Disco, EBM and New Beat.

    The 80’s gave birth to so many cool music genres. So glad I got to live through it. Favourite decade ever. 😎

    As far as popular music goes, I love the ‘80’s. I listen to 80’s on 8 on SiriusXM in my car.

    I personally really like it, but it depends on what songs, because there were also some bad ones. But, my two favorite decades for music are the '70s and '80s. I try to give today's music a chance every now and then and some of it is okay, but I just can't get into most of it. Never cared at all for 2000's music and I heard most of it way too much while it was popular and am completely sick of it to this day. '90s music is kind of meh, hit or miss, and I heard some of those over and over when they still got a lot of airplay, too.

    I also love '80s music videos. They seemed more creative and fun than now.

    I’m not a fan of disco but there were some decent 80s rock songs even if they were a bit cheesier than the 70s offerings. GunsNRoses started in the 80s so I can’t really complain too much.

    I like it...BUT, at least in Iowa, they play to too much! It plays at every store and there are too many classic rock and '80's stations. "Let it Be" by the Replacements and "Slippery When Wet" by Bon Jovi are some of my favorite albums of all times (I was class of '05 so I didn't come of age then), but I find myself really just wanting to give the eighties maybe a three year break.

    There are a few decent 1980s songs but this was when music started to go downhill. Still better than 1990s and 21st century music though.

    Not a fan - there was a lot of disco, electronic music and shiny, colorful stuff, which is not my thing at all. There were some good metal and rock bands in the 80s, but generally I prefer 60s, 70s and 90s.
