I'm a Unitarian Universalist. I support the free and responsible search for truth and meaning. Whatever that may be pertaining to my life. It's helpful for the many people that seem to combine religions.
The last I checked, catholiscm went under Christianity. Anyway I'm Christian, half catholic half orthodox. But I do like to take some 'spiritual wisdom' -so to speak- from other religions
I dont believe in god but I dont dismiss that there could be such a being after all I am just another human being so how could I possible know such a thing when I havent even seen outside of my own planet. I look at most religions but wont say they are true and wont say they arent true after all how could I know?
The fact is no one can know the truth with 100% accuracy so why try to?
I am Catholic, but I have always found it confusing: why are Catholics separated out from the rest of the Christian religions?
Atheism is the rejection of God, so that definately describes me. Even if there was proof that God existed, I would still be an atheist. He or she just doesn't seem to deserve to be worshipped since the world they rule over is so messed up. I know this sounds kinda harsh, but in my personal opinion, God seems like an asshole.
umm.... i'm a Christian, but i don't agree with any one denomination. i don't believe in the Bible 100%, so people think i'm agnostic, but i'm not. i just have different beliefs about Christianity.

I keep changing. I was spiritual but not religious for the longest time but the older I get the closer I come to becoming an agnostic.By the time I am 90 ( if I live that long) I will probably be an atheist.Or maybe I will surprise everyone and head up my own cult.who can tell.
Christians as a whole are usually just refereed to as Christian. There is many kind of Christianity most of which broke off from Catholosism who are basically saying "We still believe in god but don't agree with the way you worship".
Which made people disagree with that and so on and so on. So yeah most of it is just more Christians. A Christian is anyone who worships Christ. So in a way Catholic are the original Christians. Though I think telling this to some Christians would bother them. I am not Catholic either.
Also if you are old enough to walk you should know what religion is. We have too much of it to ignore. It is mentioned in history and many cultures have it. So unless you are an uncivilized savage, living in a cave, on a island, isolated from most of the worlds influences YOU SHOULD KNOW WHAT RELIGION IS.
Not to mentions we have all these anti religion groups. So by saying you don't know what religion is are also saying you don't know any of these groups. If you really don't you must be one of the biggest idiots in the world. Its like ignoring the fact we have skin. Its not really something you can miss.

Mythologist and Platonist, now I'm convinced God is there. Higher reality is from this other world and the world around us is an imperfect copy, but earth has to be the best because in the 'ideal' world we would be dead and without problems, there'll be no doctors, no heroes and no charity, God is good.
mulitheist mostly intuition and listening to the universe but with judeo-christian underpinnings with bits of wicca,voodoo,and the baha'i faith with elements of quakerism as well i have taken a few tennants of buddhism and confucianism and I also tend to live my life by a few credo that i feel are importand such as "Do or do not there is no try." Primum non nocere and other such feelings.
Im Irish baptised Catholic. I prob attend mass once a year and im not strictly religious atall but i still describe myself as Catholic. I do belive in God and i think about him or talk to him in my own time in my own head. I dont need to listen to a priest for 45 mins to feel close to him. I have no problem with anyone going to mass my dad does but its just my choice not to.

I try to take on the good bits from religion but leave the bad. There's a lot I like in Hinduism, Jainism, Buddism, Taoism, and Shinto.

Being Catholic and Christian are two different things so look things up before you go around calling people idiots.

I only separated it because I looked at other religion related posts and saw lots people saying Catholicism should be separate. It's a poll. The minor mistake won't ruin your life.
Catholics are separate and them and Christians have always thought of them self as separate. Most Christian religions are basically defying Catholic and saying "We dont like the way you worship but believe in god" and Catholics don't like being called Christian and vise versa. So it is correct to separate it. So you were right in doing this. Though some would agree they are the same as Christian its insults both sides when you try to say they are the same thing.
I didn't wish to imply you were an idiot or were wrong for saying it was different. It isn't completely different from Christianity. Catholics are Christians, as they were the first religion to follow the teachings of Christ. That is all I meant to say.
