I'm not religious and I'm 23 years old. I don't believe in any human interpretation of god in any religious books but I do believe that a higher power exists out there. I don't know if this higher power is a true divine being and/or the aliens who are smarter then us but I believe that in a universe so large that humans are not the most advanced species.

It's very important to keep an open mind, even if you doubt something.

You have made some unusual choices here :P

You left out:
Judaism (16 million people approx.)
Sikhism (24 million people approx.)

but included:
Wicca (1 million people approx.)
Satanism (50,000 people approx.)
Native American Spirituality (9000 people approx.)
Scientology (100,000 people approx.)

Also why include only the Christian denominations of Catholicism and Protestantism (omitting all the others) rather than just including the broader Christianity?

I'm not intending to be overly critical, I just find it curious sometimes when people miss certain more obvious choices off polls, but include other more obscure options. But for all I know you have perfectly valid reasons so just wondering :)

Anyway, 23 Agnostic.

    I'm not saying OP wasn't justified including Satanism and Scientology, but it would have made sense to also include Judaism and Sikhism that have a far larger population.
    
    Native American Spirituality has a population of less than my neighbourhood! Whilst Chinese folk religion has around 400 million followers but wasn't included.
    
    But as OP said, he/she just forgot, which is fine :)

    That's a bit scary though. I hope the satanists are the atheist kind and not devil-worshippers (yes they do exist, there were some in my town killing cats and shit). On another note, don't scientologists want the world to end?

My religious beliefs themselves would be considered kind of an Earthly type spirituality that incorporates beliefs of Zen Buddhist and Taoism and is, in major part, Christian. However, I worship in the Mormon church, I am an active member of said church and I am going to be 21 next week.

My spiritual beliefs are very hippie-like in nature, and explaining them would make me sound crazy so I just tell people I am a Mormon. It has the same effect.

Religion is utter nonsense (says one who was raised catholic). Few other things have created so many problems in the world. There is enough shite out there without making up some more, surely.

I expect about 500 years ago and more it was a way of enforcing a code of behaviour on people before proper courts/law etc. The dark side of course is/was numbing the masses and ensuring the poor stayed in their place, respecting the rich and powerful and expecting their reward in heaven.
