It's understandable people believed in it that long ago, as people didnt know better, they thought planet earth was flat, burned people alive for being a "witch" and tortured people who were accused of "blasphemy".

I do not have a religion, nor do I have a faith. I am a theologian. In my opinion, religion is the study of MAN's faith in a God/gods. Theology is the sole study of God and his mechanism of faith. I am a soteriological Calvinist and a believer in the holy trinity. Calvinism executes itself in very few forms in the Untied States. You are probably most familiar with Presbyterians. In truth there are less than 90 million Calvinists in the world. If you'd like to know more, please feel free to query Calvinism.
