People choosing to not wear clothes.
I admire people who are uninhibited enough to do that. I think it would be difficult for me, personally.
I think clothes exist for a reason. Sure, I've gone nude to bed or around my house but that's not long term. As for exhibitionists, it simply isn't coded into humans to be naked in front of all sorts of random people (hence, the title naturist is misleading). Most would find it uncomfortable, and don't forget the increased probabilities of sexual harassment due to raging boners and hormones.
I like to get naked. Romping naked on beaches and at nudist resorts is great fun. Florida is a good place to take off your clothes. Check the AANR website.
We, my wife and two teenage daughters, are naked all of the time when we are at home. We have done this ever since we been married and our daughters have been nude at home ever since they were potty trained.
I think nudity is just fine. I appreciate the beautiful work of art that the human body is. Nudity takes getting used to. In our American society and culture we tend to associate nudity more with sexual activity, probably due in large part to the puritanical views of the early European immigrants. Attitudes are slowly changing, as we can see in current clothing styles; very skimpy swimwear on public beaches, short shorts & miniskirts, and female singers in panties and bra performing in public on stage. People are becoming accustomed to it and viewing it as the norm and it doesn't seem to be a problem.
