    They both sound sedentary and boring. Both will probably lead to numerous health problems. Both are probably short lived professions, as more and more jobs in those fields are being sent overseas. Probably not the best career choice at this time.

      That's exactly what they said back in 1968. Methodologies to integrate offshore software development have never worked very well. The bad news is that they are slowly getting better. There are many aspects of the process that Americans (and Canadians) are good at. Foreigners don't even want to talk about calculating complexity. Brits or Scandinavians might do it, but it's doubtful.
