My first job I was making 40h per week and I would never do that again.
The max I would go is around 35h per week. And I do not work on weekends.

I'd choose homelessness over those jobs.

Both of those jobs sound awful. Especially job number 1, since I'm not good with calling people and having to do all that sounds...stressful. However, I'm greedy, so probably job number 1.

How does that transition to truck driving? Do you concider driving to not be that much work?

I like driving but I'm unsure about driving for 12 hours a day.

I find it really easy. I have the the same route everyday. I just voice chat on discord play podcasts and stop at the same truck stops everyday to get out and walk around. My route I have 3 stops a day but I usually stop at truck stops 2 times a day and then sit on my phone for 20 minutes every stop. The seats are built different than car seats so you dont feel that stiff feeling when u get out like you've been driving in a car. Its honestly so damn easy you forget you are even working. Theres no supervisor to tell you what to do. The day flies by.

Maybe its just because I always worked hard blue collar jobs so trucking seems easier. I cant think of an easier job tho. Maybe being a pornstar would be easier idk. Theres not much stress.

Being a porn star sucks though I bet... as a dude. Got a dickhead director telling you to get into uncomfortable positions and you cant cum until the money shot.

What kind of truck driver are you. Been thinking of going with Schneider and picking up hazmat and tanker endorsements. With the shortage people with zero experience can sign right onto the contracts.

Yeah it says on bar nunn the average annual wage is 92k so that prolly means you could earn 150k+ if u like working more.

What's the dip in pay vs years behind the wheel? New guys got to make less

Im a feeder driver. I dont have a sleeper cab and I go home everyday after my shift. You'll wish you had done it years ago once you start its great. Bar Nunn is also a good one you should look into. I think they're union as well but I could be wrong. Idk if they will train you though. Once you get experience you can leave Shnieder for a higher pay gig. The thing about driving is different company pay is so different. Usually companies that take you off the streets business model is lower wages because they invest in training you.

Neither. I make a little over 50k only work 3 days a week. I'm in line for a promotion that pays 60-70k only working 3 days a week. You can keep your shitty 5 day a week or more jobs that pay the same.

Did you work your way up to quality control or was it a position you needed prior experience with/education for?

I worked my way up but one could honestly apply for it right off the bat. At least with my company the job has a bit of a bad reputation so no one wants it wich is absurd but makes it relatively competition free most of the time. If your looking at one such Job in your area I do reccomend though I warn its boring as shit. I spend my day looking at stuff and fixing stuff that's it 12 hours a day. But I also make 2 dollars more than the production team. The technicians wich does require prior experience make 2 dollars more than me. But I want to be a supervisor wich pays way more

I tried factory jobs and 12 hour shifts were hard as hell to tolerate. I worked in a bag factory. Idk sticking my hands next to 300 rpm rollers were less than pleasant to do for 12 hours.

I would just do number one because even though you have to do much more eventually you could get an even higher up position and get more money but have to do less work you never know what positions could open up for you after that and you could be making even more money same thing with the dentist though I guess. I would just say go for it and push yourself to something you’re not ready for and get ready for it that’s what my mom tells me to do so that you can be more mature and go from there.
