I was a 90s kid and played the game of where I was an alien and stood around alone near the bushes while watching everyone else playing with each other from far away.
I preferred baseball but most people wanted to play basketball or soccer so I went with that. Sportage saved my broken home childhood.
We'd play Red Rover, Marco Polo, Hide and Seek, or pretend we were wrestlers or some other characters from T.V. Pokemon cards and Gameboy games were also things we played with. This was the 90's and a little bit of 2000. Those times were great.
:)
Mainly tag, cops and robbers, versions of monkey bars. I can't remember anything else, eventhough that was like about 10 years ago. It feels like a century XD
Dodgeball, hopscotch, jump rope, double Dutch, tag, hide and seek, baseball, football, basketball, frisbee, skip it, bubbles, race each other on scooters, bikes, do pyramids, hand games( like slide baby), etc.
late 90s-mid 00's
I liked dodgeball too, but shootin hoops and basketball was my number 1, baseball or softball was a close second. So those were my things I liked on the playground, as well as also the swings, monkeybars, seesaw, slide, and the little merry-go-round thing. Well, it was mostly swings, monkeybars, etc. like in K, 1,2,3rd grade, more basketball, dodgeball, etc. 4, 5, 6th grade, but still loved the swings sometimes. I was never so much into football or wrestling (not to play but I loved watching) since I was pretty skinny in school, at least until my junior year in HS when I was really hittin the weights.
I also played Nintendo obsessively when I was like 13, 14, 15. My favorites were Supermario Bros 1,2, and 3, Metroid, and Legend of Zelda. I also with my best friend played Mike Tyson's Knock-out (I didn't own that one). I didn't play Nintendo as much as I really got into highschool, but still enjoyed it when I had time. I never really lost interest altogether in it. I actually still prefer those games over all the new virtual stuff of today like Minecraft (which my nephew loves), I'm sure alot of that is nostalgia.
Oh, I was in highschool from 1990-1994, was in middle school 88-90, grade school all through the 80s til 88. I loved riding my bike everywhere, riding down to the creek with my friends when I was like 9,10,11,12.
Late 80's to mid 90's. Peg(aka butts up), smear the queer(aka kill the man with the ball), football, basketball, we "launched" from swings when we were really young. After school: street hockey, football, basketball, kickball, trampoline dodgeball, capture the flag (sometimes with water baloons and water guns), manhunt.
90's kid here, so ages 5 - 8...
Neopets (during computer lab)
Nano-pets (confiscated by teachers)
Gameboy Color (Mario, Pokemon, Zelda)
Hide & Seek
Tag
Ages 8 - 12+ consisted of:
YTMND.com (computer lab)
Newgrounds.com (computer lab)
Tag
Gameboy Color/Advance
Talking shit
That's all that I remember doing in school during downtime with friends.
Mid to late 80's...those rhyme songs that had the hand-clapping like Miss Mary Mack, Miss Suzy, etc. The string tricks (cat's cradle I think was one). Paper fortune tellers, MATH/MASH fortune tellers.
At recess I played games like capture the flag and this game called Gaga... I don’t really remember what else though. It was a LONG time ago
Grew up in the 90s we mostly played football (American football) and ball tag which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like it was regular tag but in order to tag someone else you threw the ball at them it was actually pretty fun
Its probably this game:
The boys are standing behind each others. Everyone is naked and hiding their "salami" inside the person in front of them or is acting like while the cheerleader team is watching and then decide who is hiding their salami and who doesn't
90s kid. mostly just tag. Or king of the hill on huge snow banks in winter.
I was a kid during the start the of the century and I played yugioh, soccer, and tag.
I was too busy most of the time protecting my class mates from bullies. When I had time though, it be by playing pretend, or getting on the swings playing green light, red light. Or who could swing the highest. Or even play hopscotch.
1992, 7 years old. That's when my fighting days started. Being a protector, playing hero.
I never was a "kid".
I was, however, an infant, toddler and child at one point.
Goats generally reach adulthood by 1 year of age.

I'm not entirely certain which "games" "kids" might "play". Nor do I think young goats take "recess".
All we had was a big plain yard with no playground equipment or footballs or anything like that to keep us occupied. So we played a game called "build up", a variation on tip chase, where when one person was tipped he'd be 'on' in addition to the first person (rather than being 'on' instead of him). Also each end of the playground was the safe zone where you weren't allowed to get caught. There's probably lots of different names for it in other places. It might sound a bit boring but honestly I'd say it was the most fun I've ever had.
90's kid-i was obsessed with gymnastics and a couole other friends were too, so we would pretend we were in the Olympics at recess 😁 while listening to the old school rap lol it was a fun combination
The reason is that your comments are sweet, and your name. You're the OP too aren't you? I can tell from your style there and your style with your other comments. And you picked I believe the most popular topic any OP has posted in a while, 89 responses, that is awesome. You seem like a very good person.
Short for "voraphilia" or "vorarephilia": a fetish in which one fantasizes about being eaten alive or eating another creature alive (sometimes known as phagophilia). The most common type of vore is "soft vore", being swallowed or swallowing whole with no bloodshed.
Now your turn ;P
I was usually by myself either on the swings the whole time or picking up grasshoppers.
dodge ball, kickball, four square. marbles , war, look at all these lost bastards that did nothing. oh i played super Mario while resting my nabi on my cold balls or some shit like that.
Hi hi lol 😂 That sounds fun :)
I'm yours ? Haha
Also what decade were you a child in
