What prison should pre- op transmen go to?

I hear about transwomen going to male prisons,but they should be going to women's prisons. Some have had that opportunity,Still most don't. So where do transmen go then? Women's or men's prisons? What if they are on hormones? What if they had bottom surgery? what if the transman was a sex offender? Putting a transman in a woman's prison could put women at risk for rape? What if the transman is put in solitary? That could put him at risk for depression or worse,death. I'm a transman myself by the way.

    Whatever the Judge chooses.
    In the end, prison is prison, if you didn’t want to do the time (and all that’s involved in it) then you shouldn’t have done the crime.

              She identifies as female so she's female. Who gives a fuck about chromosomes. Most people who find dead skeletons will see them as there born gender but once they find more evidence they will know they are transgender anyway. So yea a transwoman skeleton would be like a mans. Still it wouldn't be relevant because there transgender. So even with XY or XX there biological make up wouldn't mater. They are mentally female or male.

            Well a transman would feel comfortable in a woman's prison especially if he likes women. Not good..if he identifies as male he should be put in the men's prison. For the women's safety for sakes!!!

    If they are pre opp then they are technically still their birth gender so should go to the relevant prison for that gender. If they are post opp they should go to the prison of their new chosen gender.

      Pre op is not pre- t. Pre-Op is when on hormones and has had top surgery. Post op is when having bottom surgery. Most transmen live there life's as pre- op. Pre-op transmen look like men, have most male characteristics.

        A transman identifies as a male. So it makes perfect sense. Ok,so the transman wouldn't be safe in a male prison. What about the women in prison? They wouldn't be safe from the transman. He could get violent or worse rape them. I don't think you want that either. There should be a place for them so everyone feels safe.
