What religion are you?

I'm personally a Laveyan Satanist (though don't even get me started on the modern Church of Satan. Anton Lavey would be rolling over in his grave if he could see them now)

Muslim 12
Jewish 5

Atheist/agnostic 119
Satanist 15
Christian 86

How can you worship evil? Satanist magic is very real. Satan is not to be worshipped. He is the one who put us in this hellhole forcing God to cast us out. He is so holy he cant be in the presence of sin. A LOt of the end time prophecies have been fullfilled from daniel. This world will only get worse

    1) I'm atheist/agnostic
    2) Though I'm probably going to get voted down for this, everyone is always down-voted or up-voted on these religion polls for having a certain type of religion and a difference in opinion (have you noticed that?).

Atheist and agnosticism are very different things.

Also Christianity can be further broken down into many categories such as Creationists, Fundamental Theists, Evolutionary Theists (me), Catholics, Dogmatics, Ignorant Theists, and the dreaded "Xtians".

I am a non-denominational christian. Basically I like to keep it simple, I believe in God and Jesus because I choose to have faith that there is a purpose for us to live our lives on earth.

People say mind-control? No, they are just fruity kids. I am quite the sinner if we're going strictly by the bible, but the lord will forgive my sins for we are imperfect beings.

My only objective is to be as good of person as I can with the body and mind I've been given.

Do we really NEED that many choices? I get that knowing personally is important. But he didn't ask that a Christian is a Christian regardless if he's creationist/evolutionist. A satanist is a satanist if he's atheist/theist. Sub category's are irelavent.

Personally I believe in God an the Christian Philosophies. I've seen too many good people in my life living fulfilled and happy to think their being Christian had nothing to do with it.

I think if you were to see Lucifer you'd be shocked at what you saw.

Well, that depends on what consider Satanism to be. It's pretty much a type of Atheism, but with a spiritualistic element.

It's also a pro-humanist philosophy that embraces freedom as its core value. Some take that to the point of Anarchy, but I'm much more practical than that and realize that pure Anarchy just doesn't work because humans are inherently greedy douchebags who will kill, rape, torture their fellow man if nothing is there to hold them back. So, I just go as close to Anarchy as makes sense when it comes to social beliefs.

What you're thinking of is a theistic Satanist or a Reverse-Christian.

    Atheism is a religion?

Also: The Church of Satan was (is) a lambasting of Christianity, and nothing more. Claiming it as one's religion says nothing more than they are desperately trying to be different—especially as the entire idea of Satan has the prerequisite of subscribing to Judeo-Christian mythos. You would have to-by definition-be a Christian, Jew, or Muslim in the first place to be a Satanist, with the proviso that you think the points of view of those books are unfairly stacked against Satan.

    They're all equally silly, IMO.

Agnostic. I don't know if there's a god out there. I like to think maybe there is, but nobody was around when the world was created, so who the hell knows. But I *am* pretty anti-religion, though. Sure there are perfectly good and open-minded religious people, but so much harm came from people being too strict in their personal belief. I don't want to say I believe or don't believe. I'm gonna just enjoy the ride of life, and when I die, I won't be shocked at whatever happens :-P

Raised Methodist, but attending a non-denominated Christian church. There's a lot of things I disagree with in the modern church - stances on evolution, homosexuality, and reproductive rights, for instance - but I am learning that there is a difference between God's Word and man's word. There is soooo much interpretation out there, but Christianity is about the relationship with God, not the rituals or the rules.

You could try a non-denominational church. Basically, expect back-to-basics traditional sermons and lessons, but you are the one who decides your personal relationship with Christ. For example, we have one family who doesnt believe baptism is required for salvation, while another feels full-submersion is the only legitimate kind, and will do it whenever they're compelled (bad times, an illness, reaffirming, etc).

I officially claim the Mormon church...
But as far as my religious beliefs go, they span from Mormonism to Daoism to Zen Buddhism to Confucianism so on and so forth. I enjoy the teachings of many religions but I prefer to go under the heading of Mormon because it is the most convenient religion for me to practice and the irony of a little redneck like me being a Mormon was almost too good to pass up.

I don't necessarily believe the church's story that the earth was created with adam and eve and all that other god stuff I believe it was the evolution that started us because now that we have the technoligy for that kind of evidence and back then they didn't but I do think there is some kind of god but certainly doesn't stop all the evil in the world

Bingo on the evolution thing (for me at least.) The bible was written by humans. Any educated theologists will say so. But God can create through evolution.

Religion is just tooooooo complicated to be able to assume only one faith got it right!
