There are more types of Christianity than just Catholic and Protestant. There should be a Christianity - Other option. Or just an Other option in general, since you left out a lot of different religions.

Meet people not blinded by religion? The only people I can think of is atheists. ALL religious people do not have any grounds to believe in their 'god' ever. They also seem too scared (or ignorantly stupid) to even question themselves.

Bullshit peopel downvote this stuff. I've had this same thought and argument, (the going to hell for not worshipping)and one religion that counter-argues with that is the mormon relgion. I went to seminary for a few months out of curiosity, and asked him this very thing. He told me all people have a second chance in the after-life to try and learn the religion once again. I still of course ended up ditching that relgious institution as well as the rest, but it WAS fairly interesting...

ie I understand that the christian laws are that you MUST praise the Lord your entire life. BUT if you don't then its God's wishes after death!
Do note, that if you are standing before the lord or god or the good fairy or whatever you call it (I call it BS personally) then quite obviously you'd probably start believing!

I think I'd be called a non-practising Catholic. I still believe in God, pray often and try to be good, but I haven't been to church in years. I'm a vegetarian, but before I made that choice I didn't give up meat during lent. Neither does anyone else in my family.

I was raised Christian. I believe there's some greater power out there, not sure what the fuck it is or how it got there, but the world is too much of an incredible place for me to merely pass it off as evolution and coincidence. I don't go to Church and feel uncomfortable around strictly religious people. I also don't give a shit whether or not other people are Christians.

To be fair, Scientology is not a religion, it's a cult. I used to be one of those people who was like "why do people pick on them so much?", and then I found out that it's because they're horrible and abusive.
Wicca was officially recognized as a religion. Satanism is an atheist lifestyle, though. I'd have to agree that one isn't a religion. :o Mormonism and Scientology are just the weirdest cult ideologies I'd ever heard of. But, as cults, I'd have to concede that they are religious beliefs.
Mormonism is a religion that has some sections that can be considered cults. It's not in any way on the same level as Scientology, which was founded (and still is) largely for profit.
