What rules would you set for a voluntary street fight?

It's about grabbing each other by the nose when dirty tricks or deliberately dangerous manoeuvres are played out that exceed the level of injury of a normal or slightly-more-severe assault.

Furthermore, it would be conceivable to determine when an injury must be acknowledged by the respective side in any case and, in the necessary case, to stop and contact the emergency doctor, for example.

This does not make up for it. Violence is violence. However, this is an attempt to secure the matter through an agreement, perhaps even pseudo-legal, but in any case in the sense of honour.

Dirty tricks are actually already part of almost every fight outside of a club, however, the damage should be minimised somewhat by this. The opponent should be able to be demolished, but there should not be an "accidental" death or someone landing on the machine.

It immediately occurred to me that it might make sense to introduce something like Safer Fight, as in cage fighting etc., so that, as with Safer Use (drugs), attention is paid to a certain setting. In street fighting, many things are allowed, if not everything, but to restrict that a little bit in order not to run the risk of becoming a murderer, I find quite attractive.

What do you think?

Personally, I would find a few simple rules appealing for the sake of honour.

I have a fight coming up. He provoked me all the time, so I challenged him. He accepted. He's a much bigger asshole than I could ever be, but since he's blind, I'll back off a bit myself. I'm going to make sure we have a safe environment where no one fires us up to get into a blood frenzy (I get in there very easily). There are a few points I want to and will keep in mind. I am preparing a document that could protect us both from being reported and at the same time ensure that we are covered in case of an emergency. That's the plan.

No rules at all. It's street fights after all. 4
Simple rules and not many of them. 2
A few more rules could do good in street fighting. 0
The more rules, the safer the fight. 0
Better not allow too much. (Fist fight only and only with safe words) 1
Where no fights occur, no rules are needed anyway. 1

If both parties consent to mutual combat, then I'd say:
No weapons, intentional or improvised (you got shoes on & they don't, take them off or don't kick).
    No eye gouging.
    No hair pulling.
    No biting.
    No fish-hooking.
Other then that, (as long as you don't damage any property not belonging to either party) Feel free to kill each other.

    • Sounds good. I definitely agree with that. Although, even if I would like to kill him, it probably wouldn't be that practical. xD
How should one explain this then, should it be forwarded to the authorities. "Hello, I killed a human being with consent. He wanted it that way. Provoked it. He gave me his signature" xD

How about settling your differences by dialogue like civilized people not barbarians?

    • In principle not a bad idea, but he is too stupid to understand what I am saying. I went through this for three years. If someone is so incompetent, I don't think he needs to expect me to be nice. Btw, I have an impulse control problem, so this often happens to me that I cause trouble at will.

Wait... He's BLIND? How is any fight with a blind man fair? I say you two have to fight NAKED and blindfolded so you too are equally vulnerable. That or grow up and have dinner together to discuss your differences.

    • I have seen many blind people fight. Some of them were really tough guys. That's not an argument for me. Besides he claims he's pretty good. I know that's not true but maybe a good beating shows him how wrong he was. Apart from that, I have limitations myself. A generator blew up next to me a few years ago. Since then I can't hear anything on one side. Apart from that, I have an injury to one eye, which makes me practically half-blind myself. Combine that with a chronic condition of both legs and it's rather unfair in my case.
And just to name a few things that justify it in my opinion: I have seen and heard it said that he fights anything but fair and is anything but fair with people. If something doesn't work out the way he wants, he uses dirty tricks and not just a few but all of them. Apart from that, the likelihood that he will use objects is relatively high, even though it is agreed that none will be used. A street fight with someone else is more fun. I'm already fair enough to limit my moves considerably, and blindfolding myself was my plan anyway.
On the other hand, if you knew him, you wouldn't think anything of fairness. He's trash, no shit. Copyright infringement, sexual harassment, lewdness, violation of dignity and spreading false facts are just a few harmless examples of what he has already brought. "The poor blind man" doesn't really itch me in the slightest.
And on the subject of fighting naked: firstly, he has significantly more fat pads to cushion my blows, secondly, he has pretty much no genitals that can be damaged in any way and I do. And there's no point in arguing with him. I've been doing that for three years and it always ended the same way - he said "Yes, I understand" and then apparently he didn't give a shit.
As I like to say, you don't know him. Fairness is not necessarily what he deserves, yet I make an effort, which is actually complete nonsense. In the end, he even provoked it and wanted it, so.

Been an advocate to bring back dueling to a certain degree. Just like a controlled place to duel. Both parties sign a waiver, given less than lethal weapons and a referee and let them work it out.

The dueling pistols of old for non lethal used wax bullets (still killed rarely). Though I think bean bags rounds and a face and neckguard would work out in the modern landscape.

I think it would be popular.

It’s not much of a fight if you’re standing long enough to use a “dirty trick” as you put it.

If I haven’t put something down in less than two hits I’d consider that a fail.

No kicks to the groin, that's really dangerous, you can even die from it.

    • I'll have to rub his nose in it. He likes that just as much as pulling hair and squeezing nipples.
