I'm just curious about the funniest troll thing you've seen on the ol' interwebz, here or otherwise. It would he great to have a bit of a laugh during this depressing pandemic. I have one pretty decent troll story, but I'm sure y'all have better ones
I'll start since this is my post.
My experience happened on a trip to new zeland south island. I've been there like...idk 4 times? Anyways I went on one long trip all over southie. The kiwis were legitimately the nicest people I've ever met in my life. So kind & sweet.
Except for one lady. Holy shit she was a bitch. It was some lady who worked in a cafe, and I really wish I remembered the name of the place or the town, but I think it was somewhere between aurther's pass and christchurch.
Anyways, this lady was SOOOOO fucking rude that I was like, let's read the Google reviews in the car...for funsies on the drive
Holy shit hahahaha
So someone left a normal post. "This woman in the cafe was extremely rude and nasty" but for some reason they followed it up with a passive aggressive
Then she farted
Well, after that post every review poster claimed she farted at the end of their review
She yelled at my kids, then released a long squeaky fart, and then yelled WHAT IT'S NATURAL
I ordered a latte and she tried to steam the milk with her farts.
It was just a kiwi team effort to bash this lady & it was amazing.
Idk if I've ever laughed so hard
Yeah...but it's no patch on spam posting the script of "shriek" then being so desperate for validation you solicit it on the post from someone who thinks farts are the height of comedy...then post about it a week later and rightly get downvoted to oblivion.
Quality, right there.
Google reviews trolls are great. One of my favorites is for the Aral Sea (a lake between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, at one point one of the largest in the world until the Soviets drained almost all of it for irrigation). Of the 900-ish reviews on it, most of them are troll posts shitting on it for being basically a desert
Hahahaha Google reviews is a fucking disaster. If you get bored go to Google reviews of the seven wonders of the world & read the low stars. The karenflakery is spectacular.

Great wall of china: an old Chinese lady spat at me and the chicken tasted like rat meat. No stars
I love the pointlessly salty and/or troll reviews on google. Like how a bunch of the reviews for the Washington monument are "1/5 doesn't look anything like Washington"
Or when people add completely fake places on google maps. I remember seeing on oldpeoplefacebook awhile back that someone accidentally created a location called "Good morning sorry I didn't get back to". I looked it up and people had left 5 star reviews with pictures of breakfast food. seems it's since been removed though :(
