What's the weirdest reason a date rejected you?

My coworkers and I were talking about this topic during our 15 minute breaks this morning.

One of them said he got ghosted by a woman because he was a Hispanic who didn't know Spanish and only knew English.

Another said she was rejected by a chick because she wouldn't let her date live with her after only knowing her for an hour.

My other coworker said she got dumped by her date after two days because he demanded that she grow out her armpit hair for him and she refused to.

As for me, I've been ditched by dates over things like pouring milk in the bowl before cereal, being a monogamous bisexual, wearing a hat indoors, partaking in the free bread at Olive Garden, and for buying myself a Mario amiibo when I went on that date to NYC Nintendo Store. That last one I still can't figure out why they made such a big deal over it.

    On a second date, a woman who somehow knew my credit history took me into a jewelry store just to “try on” engagement rings.

    I tried not to laugh. I was trying to learn as much about gold diggers as possible. When we left the store, she asked me what I thought. Being diplomatic I said, “Some times it’s good to present your subconscious with situations to see how it reacts.” “Yes?” she replied. I smiled. “Not telling” I said.

    Hahaha. She lost her patience but said goodbye politely. What a fucking joke.

    Making U-hauling an olympic sport! Sorry to hear of the biphobia, also if they don’t like free bread they shouldn’t be in your life.

    Not a rejection but I was told I embarrassed a former partner by getting drunk on raspberry vodka... on our teen camping trip. Isn’t that what you’re supposed to do on those trips?

        Not necessarily. :-) Not if they aren't into hookup culture. Can be hard to find a decent man who actually... sticks around and doesn't sleep around, if you know what I mean.

        Meh. One dude I met, got really weird and shouting about the cost of his watch…

        I can’t really think of anyone else. I mostly just don’t call anyone back. It takes a lot to keep my attention.

    I've never asked anyone out so i've never been rejected, all but 1 of my gf's dumped me for my nonexistent sex drive however.

    I can't remember anything weird. I was once ghosted after I sent a drunk sms (yes, long time ago) about how we would get married.

    For my defence, it was New Year's Eve and I was a teenager.

    I was already rejected because my eyes scared my date. To this day, I have no idea what she meant by that. And another date was horrified that I wore a red polo shirt with the abbreviation MU when we met.

    It wasn’t really reason, but I asked a girl I liked to go out, and she just laughed and said, “With you?” I felt so humiliated I went home and cried.
