What's your opinion on samsug galaxy phones?

After having an iPhone for years, I've decided to switch to another brand for my upgrade. I've had my eyes on the Samsung Galaxy 4 and 5 for quite some time.

Have any of you used Samsung phones, especially in the Galaxy series? What are your opinions on them? Thanks. :)

    I've had a Galaxy Ace and now have a Galaxy Express.

    Yeah...no one's heard of them. I know.

    I think it's meant to be a slightly lesser version of one of the s models. 3or 4? Idk whatever was out about two years ago in June.

    It does me ok. I would never get an Apple product on pronciple anymore.

    I got the 5 active because I'm constantly dropping my phone. Hasn't broke yet :) And it comes in a lovely camo print! Woot woot!

    Can they be used to make or receive a phone call? Do they have that feature that takes messages if you can't take the call?
    If the answer to both questions is yes, then I'm guessing they will do the job they were intended to do. What else would one need a phone for?

      All phones are made with these features. (They better be!) However, no phone is made equally. My iPhone was expensive. I bought it because of the hype, my fault entirely. It wasn't worth my money. I don't want to make another mistake like that again.

        Dude we may, in a busy year, make and receive thirty calls, maybe. I don't even know how to access the voicemail on the damn thing (not an Iphone, I think). Really, I'm not the one to ask; I was just messing with you.

    I have the samsung galaxy alpha, I call it the beast cos its totes amazeballs. Every one has an iphone, bloody annoying. so I like to be different. Im a samsung girl through and through.

    They are brilliant. I have an S3 and it's brilliant. Never had any trouble. My next phone will be a Samsung again.

    I love my galaxy s4, but you should wait until the galaxy s6 comes out. I think it's coming out this month (February 2015).

    I'm using one of the really old ones, Samsung Galaxy Ace. Considering its age, I have no complaints except maybe battery life, but that seems to be a problem with most smart phones.

    I've had the s2, s3, s4 and now I've got the s5. I wasn't a fan of the s4 as there were a lot of gimmicks that were not properly utilised until the s5 came out.

    Remember with any expensive electronic get a warranty

    Waste of money and cheap chinese toy. My class mates have Galaxy's and all i hear is complains:

    OH NO! I forgot my charger now my phone won't last till the end of day!

    Darn crap bugged again! I must restart it!

    Why wont it turn on!

    No signal!

    A virus!

    Really only good galaxy is galxy s2! My friend had it and he never had problems with his phone!

    I am iPhone user and yes i have tried galaxys. iPhones have really great quality, galaxys doesnt!

    If you want a new phone then buy HTC or LG.

    Or maybe newer iPhone.
