What should i name the dog i will get?

I am getting a dog in 1-5 months, and so is my sister. She is a getting a female, and I am getting a male. They will both be spayed/neutered yorkish terriers, and she says she has already reserved a name for her dog, but I have no idea what to name mine. I don't want a normal name like 'Max' or 'Scout'. I want names that are unique, so I've narrowed it down to these 5 choices.

All these names belong to characters of different Paper Mario games, just because I really like the series and the names.

I know this is not an is it normal question, but I'm not a big fan of yahoo answers, so I won't be going there anytime soon.

    How can you name an animal until you have some idea of it's personality?
    I'd wait and get to know it a bit and then choose a name that suits the animal.

    I did that with my Dogs and have hours of fun in the Park.

    Crab bait, shark bait, football, baseball, speed bump, IED (improvised exploding DOG), hedge (I killed my neighbours yorkie with a hedge trimmer), firewood, etc. Why do you want to get yappy rats?

    Get a real dog like a german sheperd or even better do the right thing, go to a rescue centre & save the lives of 2 proper dogs.

    My first dog was named Buckwheat, but he died after choking on food that my grampy-gramps gave him... I was 3 at the time, so I don't remember much. My next dog was named Dino (Dee-noe) because my sister was eating Dino Nuggets and asked if we should name him Dino (Die-noe), but my daddy-dad said that we should call him Dino (Dee-noe). Then, I got another dog, that had a tiny tail. We decided to name her Pebbles because if her pebble-like tail. I didn't notice these names were from the Flintstones until way later, but that's what made it coincidentally funny.

    I'm not really being helpful here, but how is that unique if you ripped it off of Mario? I like cooper out of those.

      I know I'm using mario names, but that isn't what I meant. What I meant by 'Unique names' is that I want a name that isn't so common, like buddy or max.

      The age of the dogs wasn't mentioned but they can be fixed any time after about 8 weeks old.
