The Democrats will and have gone to extreme lies to keep him from running for president! What is the Big lie this time?
Theyre trying to get him with the stormy daniels thing again. His lawyer paid hush money to a hooker he fucked a long time ago. Trump reimbursed him out of his own bank account. Theyre alleging it was a compaign finance violation. The only problem is its a federal election so its out of jurisdiction of NY state and the statue of limitations has ran out on it. Also the money was paid out of his own account not his campaign fund, and the DA is charging him with a felony count even though the crime is a misdemeanor.
I dont think he will be convicted but its a way to embarrass him before the election. Stormy Daniels will probably come out and say he has a small cock and hes into weird sexual shit or whatever. In my opinion its weaponizing the justice system and a way to embarrass him.
An election that's more than a year away. Trumps embarrising himself is worse than the charges itself.
He needs to lay low. Talk smack on the biden leadership and its political failings and only come after his potential rivals when we are in the primaries.

The environment is different thN 2016. What I liked about the original Trump movement was it was fun. He was trolling the elites and everyone in power. He came off as a ordinary whitty new york guy who got rich enough to get on stage and would say things normal Americans would say.
At this point his campaign has gotten a little more serious because the state of things is more serious and it might hurt him. The videos he's putting out come off as perhaps too based. If someone is gonna really do some change they need to pretend they are less of a threat than they are. Then once they get power they can implement their agenda. He's uniting the elites against him by being too based.
Desantis seems to be the one accomplishing more with less heat. Granted hes the one in office, but trump really needs to lay it on thin right now. The only ones listening to him right now are the ones who already made up their minds about voting for or against him. Which is what got biden into office.
He needs a nice guy persona right about now. 2016 is over and lightning doesnt strike twice. He needs a new approach. Rather we are getting the same 2020 trump that got more than half the country to vote for an incompetent biden over another 4 years with him as president. It's not like him going softer is going to cause the die hard to vote democrat.
I think it's a moot point now. No chance for it to be magically changed and lingering on it will only cause more problems with people who dont absolutely agree with it being rigged.

Trump broke so many traditions as president just to serve himself, another tradition being broken against him is just karma. He set the precedent for this.
It's just a bad idea to go after him at this time. He soared in the polls after this; I wouldn't be surprised if this gets him re-elected. Also,I don't like the guy. Because adultery, whilst wrong, shouldn't be illegal. Visting hookers shouldn't be illegal, and paying extra to make sure she doesn't spill the beans shouldn't be illegal either.
