A term currently popular amongst people my age (In their early 20s) and younger is "bussin". It sounds awful.
"Take the scrunchie out of your hair" and "you look better with your hair down"
This one is one my coworkers, and a few other people I know have repeatedly nagged me about. I tie it back because my hair is thick and gets in the way of everyday tasks if I don't.
Lately, for some reason hearing them say it has made me pretty bitter. I just want to say to them "Bitch take off all that covid weight you gained. Oh, right, you can't immediately change your look the same way I do by simply taking a hair tie out of the hair. Ya'll have no right to say I'd look better looking a certain way when you guys have let yourselves go so much."
I don't have "trigger" words, but I do find the word "cringe" to be stupid and pointless.
I cringe a little when people - women, especially - refer to their "vagina" when they actually mean their vulva.
The reason it makes me cringe is because (outside of an ob-gyn examination room where a speculum is in use) the only time you're able to see a woman's vagina is if she's had a vaginal prolapse.
If pussy and cunt make you cringe, I can't imagine how you'd react to some of the really gross slang terms for women's genitals: axe-wound, tuna taco, beef curtains, cock socket, piss flaps, slime well, etc, etc.
This is a pet hate of mine.
I have always told my girls that it's their vulva. They tend to come up with their own funny words for it which is fine by me, as long as they also understand that it is a vulva.
Hey Booj, your cringe talent is surprisingly good. Lol. Thanks for cheering me up.
