if everyone's actions, no matter where they are, are taped and recorded and broadcast to everyone all the time and everyone's thoughts were shown to everyone in the form of speech bubbles for their entire lives? Would the world be a better place with honesty of this level around everywhere? what would happen if such a world existed?
If what you are suggesting was reality, the human race would commit mass suicide within a week. My thoughts are my own and when I'm speaking to someone I don't want EVERYONE to hear.
I certainly have absolutely no interest in anybody else's thoughts or conversations.
The bedlam would be intolerable. Did you even think of that?

This would confirm the cynical attitude most people have. Very little would actually change.
I used to imagine that "aliens" had every single human being on the planet on their own channel to be watched, monitored and judged by an alien race hundreds and thousdands of miles away in spaceships and what not, like kodos and kang from the simpsons.
If we all had the chance to read each other's mind and have our mind's read by each other against "our" own will, we'd all be closed up and closed off inside our homes afraid of social interaction.
No one can be truly honest with themselves and with others at the same time - all the time, even ill admit that. But im only brutally honest about others when im alone, only.
Unless of course if said "other" was alone with me. I kind of don't like keeping secrets to myself, i need to have someone to talk to them about with. This is why i choose to be "alone" most of the time. You dont want my secrets, i dont want yours. Ill tell you mine - but only because its a secret. You can tell me your secrets too, its just im bad at keeping secrets, especially my own.
All I know is I wouldn't want anyone seeing all the pervy fantasies that run through my head.
