You are chilling in your living room while watching TV and then all of a sudden you hear a warning about an earthquake and tsunami which you have to evacuate immediately.

What would you do if this happened?

    If a tsunami hits New Mexico, I don't think I have much chance of evacuating.

      If there was ever a catastrophe so extreme that a tsunami hit New Mexico, I'm sure the whole frigging world would be thoroughly borked and there'd be no place safe for any of us to run to.

    There are no oceans around me. Even back home in Bulgaria, I live 200km away from the Black Sea. So if a mega-tsunami, powerful enough to submerge Bulgaria hits, no amount of evacuating will help. Most of the world is fucked.

    In such a case, I'd pour myself a glass of Chivas 21, call my parents, tell 'em I love them. Call my best friend and tell him it's been a wild ride and once we're dead, I'll wait for him at the bar. Then I'll put on a nice movie and snuggle with my wife, accepting my fate.

    This could really happen here. We have had earthquakes and tsunami. I already have a plan - take my scooter and go in the highlands.

    Since I live nowhere near an ocean I would know that its fake news; and ignore it.

    If I felt an earthquake, I would move to the center of the house as its the safest place to be in my house.
