  • Here I go, typing this all out again.

Well my weirest but most entertaining dream was this.

I was in a desert, a flat desert. The sky was red. I am standing in black jeans and a red collared shirt. Inront of me is a war. There are no guns or sharp weapons, just blunt clubs. Their clothes didn't belong to the modern world and were moreso suited to the attire people had in the days of Jesus and so on.

I stand there outside of the war just watching people being beaten to death, bodies on the floor with the skulls bashed open, blood everywhere. I'm standing infront of them all and I'm not noticed, as if I am invisible. I'm apathetic to it all.

After wathing it happen for a while there is a woman on the opposite end of the war from me. She's wearing a white thin but non-seethrough dress that is waving in the air like a dress would underwater. Her feed never touch the ground and she levitates a few inches off the ground, making her just taller than anybody in the war.

She makes her way in to the war. As soon as she is near any of the people in the war they just stop fighting and seem extremely happy. She makers her way straight through the war and soon there isn't a war, everybody is happy.

It becomes apparant that she was going through the war to reach me on the other end as she stops directly infront of me and smiles. I just stare at her, still with a look of apathy. She remains smiling and strokes her hand down my face. I start to smile. I then stroke the outside of my hand/fingers down her face while smiling. As my hand reaches halfway down her face she shows a look of fear/horror. I remain smiling. As my hand further strokes her face she starts to fade in to sand. Each layer of her skin fades away in to sand. Her skull soon exposes itself and also fades in to sand, blowing away in to the desert. Once she has completely fades, my hand drops to my side and my smile drops back in to a look of apathy. Everybody starts fighting and the war picks off where it left off.

After the sand from the woman in white fades completely from infront of me I see a tall stone alter with stairs leading up to a stone throne in the middle of the war. I start walking towards the alter. I walk forward and enter the war and still nobody seems to know I'm there. I walk through the war not even acknowledging what is going on around me.

I reach the bottom of the alter and look up at the throne at the top as dark red clouds appear. I take my first step and thunder starts. I continue walking and the thunder gets louder and red liquid starts heavily falling, I can only assume it is blood. It takes me a while to reach the top but when I do I immediatly turn around and sit down. I look down at the war still continuing and feel disgusted.

I look up at the sky and all I can see is the red liquid heavily falling on to my face. Then I woke up.

It was a weird dream and felt real. The dream was entertaining but it weirded me out.

      • It's an entertaining dream. I've had it a few times now. I think I remember it so well because I've had it a few times but mostly because it felt real. I tend to remember my dreams that feel real. :)

Whenever I get sick, I always have a similar dream. It's a mix between x-files, labyrinth, and Alice in the wonderland. I start out trapped in this grocery store and there's this monster chasing me, then somehow I break into one of the back rooms. To my horror I find pickle babies growing in jars. I escape there but I keep running. I'm not sure how the rest of it goes, I just end up running into a new obstacle after each escape. Before I wake up it's like I'm in the middle of a board game and all the things that were chasing me close in on me.

I kept having dreams about being chased by people/things that wanted to kill me. I finally figured out it was pressure from other people in my waking life to live like them, to conform. When I quit caring so much about what other people thought the dreams stopped. By any chance do you feel pressure from other people to have kids, settle down or conform in ways that you may feel keep you from other goals?
      I'm no expert, just guessing.

I never thought of it like that. I started having this dream when I was around seven. I just chalked it up to my fever making me delirious.

Yeah, I feel like everyone has their own expectations of me. For the last year I've distanced myself from a lot of people and ran away from my goals. I used to know what I wanted but I'm not sure anymore.

  • I dreamed that I walked outside and I saw Steve (someone I knew from elementary school) coming towards me. He attacked me, so I slit his throat with a protractor. Afterwards, I freaked out and tried to find a place to hide his body. I went into my front yard where I noticed that my car was buried under a massive sand-dune. I pulled a rusted wheel out of the trunk and forgot about it. A basin of salty water appeared in my front yard and I reasoned that the current season was summer, because the presence of sand-dunes and salt water made me think about the beach. Because investigations as to whether or not I killed Steve were under way, I was forced to come up with a plan. My plan was to kill Steve a second time, this time in broad daylight. My reasoning was that since I was being accused of having killed Steve, if I killed Steve a second time and there were witnesses, the authorities would be forced to drop the previous investigation against me, as having killed Steve once would imply that I couldn't do it again. So I walked into my back yard, Steve respawned, and I shot him in the head. The cops saw me do it and claimed that I was innocent of the charges brought against me. They didn't care that I killed Steve a second time.

The best dream i ever had was bout a year ago ( I even wrote it down).

I was with my friend and we were in a creepy horror-esk cave. Out of no where my friend became possesed by Ozzy Ozbourn and while in the cave, the only person who could un posses him was Jake from state farm. So Jake from state farm ran over to my friend and started to write hebrew letters on the back of his neck in the Glow Doodle app font. When Ozzy's ghost came out of my friends body, it was actually Frida kahlo. Frida and I ended up having a lovely conversation about tea and flowers.
    Fin.

There's a recurring dream I've had for about 5 years, but I don't quite remember it, I always get the sense that I remember it when I wake up in the night but I forget it when I go to sleep, I have it every few months, all I remember every time is darkness, I can't tell if I'm somewhere dark or if it's only a partly created dream but it's dark and there's a huge impending sense of doom, that something really really bad is going to happen and that there's nothing I can do to stop it, the feeling stays with me for the rest of the day every time I have it

But the Brian blessed, taxi driver being paid in breath mints I mentioned before on iin wins second place

The messed up thing is that I'm not making this up. I really did have a dream that I was watching the winter Olympics on TV and they were taking place somewhere in Eastern Europe. Then the network, as they often do, cuts away and covers a story about some local village and in this particular village they taught badgers how to do traditional folk dances.

My weirdest dreams are the ones where I dream about the lives of eight different people in this anime world. They all have different powers that they use to protect their planet. Some of their adventures are normal, mundane tasks while others can be pretty nightmareish or just plain bizzare.

All my life I've had lucid dreams and sleep paralysis, which my mom also has and I seem to get it from her. The scary thing about my lucid dreams are that I always know I can control them, so I know I can make things happen, and my brain makes them all go to nightmares. I don't really have nice dreams. When I was younger I used to have recurrent ET dreams. You know the alien from the movie? And he would be killing me in all of them and I would wake up trying to scream but I would have lost my voice and my sleep paralysis would take over and bring ET into real life where he would torture me and stand next to my bed. The only way they would end would be that my mom would come in and shake me awake as I could see her. Scary shit. I also was deeply terrified of snakes which is a whole other long story of those dreams.

Strangest dream I've had was a semi-lucid dream where I was aware of being conscious but I didn't realize I was dreaming. I was laying on my side when I felt sleep paralysis kicking in and as I'm not a fan of this feeling I wanted to wake up. Little did I realize that I was half way into the dream world.

So in my dreaming mind I decided to try and move to get rid of the paralysis. I started rocking in my bed and eventually used the momentum to sit up in my bed. As I was sitting in my bed I thought I had beat it when I decided to blink and was instantly back lying on my side in sleep paralysis instead of sitting up awake. I repeated this process a few times and continued to be "teleported" back to lying down in my bed when I finally woke up and realized I had actually been asleep for an hour or two.

All of this occurred with no gaps in consciousness and only felt like a minute or two but was much longer in reality. It was a weird experience where I felt pretty dissociated from my body, interesting to say the least.
