When does tthe nearsightedness of my daughter going to stop?

My daughter has worn glasses since she was three. Her first perscription was about -4. When she was 11 she switched so hard contacts. At that time her perscrpition in her contacts was about -10. Now ahe is 18 and in her last year of School. Her contachts perscription is -19. She also has a moderate astigmatism of -2,5. her glasses perscription is -20,5. The bad tihng is, even with her contacts her Vision is not good. She often complains about not sseing clearly, sometimes she crys that her eyesight is such bad. Isn't there anything i could do for my daugher? I am so afradi that she will go blind. Shoud she wear weaker glasses for reading? Has she a right to sit in the first row in School to see the board better? And can she hace ICL implants?
Sorry but english is not my fist language

You need to have a long talk with whoever she's been seeing for her glasses and get some clear answers. We can't answer you on this forum. I don't know what ICL implants are but that's something to discuss with a medical specialist.

Ignore that rude post above: I'd love to see how clearly s/he'd write in a different language

At least she can't see your horrible grammatical ability. That's worth having bad eyesight.

Do you even speak any other languages, Steve?

I am moderately fluent in several other languages, but I'd never write a post on a forum in another language without using a translating device to ensure my use of correct grammatical structure.

        Child.

What's with your signature? "Child" on the end of every post? Why so defensive? it was just a question. Translating devices are shit for grammatical structure, child.

I don't write "child" on the end of every post. Why does everyone find it so interesting?

Find what so interesting? Steve, I like you, no need to be defensive. You aren't the guy who was studying Russian, were you?

I have worn glasses since 4th grade. I have always had vision problems without my glasses. I was or am to point if I lose or break glasses while on a road trip or something I might as well pull over and call someone. I could not drive without glasses. Just 9 months ago after getting new glasses from V.A. (Veterans Admin), about 4-5 weeks later my vision took a nosedive for the worse. I am still trying to find out reason why vision dropped off so fast as it did. If you enjoy your vision, take care of your eyes.

I can help you. My son had some problems of this sort. I took him to a doctor and after diagnosing it was prescribed by the doctor to undergo a Lasik treatment at Toronto ( https://www.goldbergcentre.com/lasik/what-is-lasik/ ). After this treatment, he is completely free the problem. He used spectacles before and he was reluctant to wear it often. He had to use it wherever he goes and even to pool. My son’s situation was terrible. Better you consult a good doctor and find the actual problem that your girl is facing.

Your daughter has bigger problems if she has a mother who is coming to this site to ask about her daughter's health.
