When i catch spiders i put them in an empty casette tape, iin?

I have a lot of those casette tapes, way back when. So when I see spiders in my room, or anywhere, I basically trap them inside an empty casette tape. Sometimes I would put in dead flies in there, so I can watch the spider/s eat it.

I think a jar might work better.

Yes less chance of you suffocating the spider. I think the spiders need air too.

i guess that's making use out of the otherwise useless cassette tapes.

O_O A jar would be better and you could sell those tapes to collectors on eBay or a record store that sells tapes.

Not normal But neither are those who use jars, or defend them. Fuck spiders! I'm too scared sometimes to get close enough to kill them lol. Seriously, arachnaphobi, the movie, actually gave me a stronger dose of....arachnaphobia lol. I'm not normal, either lmao.....This is actually a serious post comment

I love spiders. I once had one living in my car for years, I named him Charlie. He used to crawl across the dashboard every morning on my way to work. I don't think a jar would be very nice like a couple of people suggested. Spiders shouldn't live in captivity, the cassette tape seems more humane. ;D

How is a cassette more humane? Less chances of air and jar would be bigger. You named it charlie? Did it ever run away. Did you feed it or let it catch the flys that sometimes fly in when you open the window?

  • This doesnt even make sense, how do you keep them in the cassette tape anyway? Dont they keep escaping?

Lol that's kind of cool just don't shake it

  • Sounds cool. Ever thought of putting two spiders in one and throwing one fly in the tape. Then you can watch two spiders go at it.
