When i drink alcohol i feel liver pain

I had a few sips of red wine with dinner and the next day felt a very mild pain under my right rib for a few seconds.

    It could be intestinal pain, alcohol irritates the lining of the stomach and intestines.
    Unless you drink heavily alcohol will not damage the liver.

    Your liver can't "hurt". It doesn't have pain receptors.

    Well.....maybe u should stop drinking alcohol?
    Anyways get it checked out, ur body doesn’t get rid of the alc n toxins much if the liver is not functioning properly

    IBS pain? It can get triggered by alcohol. Happens to me sometimes.

    Unless you experience this every time you drink alcohol, it could just be ordinary indigestion from the food you ate at dinner.

    Easy to work out: if you never get it except when you drink alcohol you can choose not to drink alcohol. If it's just red wine, that's not uncommon, it upsets my stomach too, so I don't drink it.
