Cause when I was little me and my family went out for brunch at Denny’s a couple of years ago then after we had it they just decided to just leave me as their way as joking around but I didn’t find it funny at all and I started to cry and call their names to please come and get me.
My sisters used to drop me off on the side of the road as a joke. One time I walked away and they couldn’t find me. They never did it again. lol
Hey at least they didnt forget you in a hot car and then left you for hours.
Did they actually leave or just pretend to? If they did that’s terrible parenting.
they actually left then a few minutes later they came and got me saying that it was a “joke” and I was just upset about it.
That's a vicious thing to do to a six-year-old kid. After their most basic physical needs are met, the one thing young children need most is to feel secure and loved.
Maybe your parents are just stupid or maybe they have the nasty sense of "humour" that leads to pranks shading in to cruelty, but you might want to consider if this incident was completely out of character for them. If it wasn't, then you might consider doing some research into something called "attachment styles". People who weren't raised in an environment of secure attachment very often have serious problems with relationships because they're insecure, fearful or inclined to withdraw.
