When we die, do you think we see our loved ones?

I have mixed feelings about this.. When we die, do you think we are reunited with our loved ones again? I sure hope we are. I read one article about a man who had a near death experience and he said he was greeted by all his loved ones that had passed on.. another writer explains that we see our loved ones only for a short amount of time, but then we find our place. Wouldn’t our place be with people we feel closest to? Such a confusing topic. No one really knows.

Everyone wants to believe in an idyllic afterlife, where we retain our personalities and live with our loved ones in paradise for all eternity. Now I know I'd like that. But that shits not the truth. And my analytical nature won't allow me to believe in anything that's not reality. But if others want to believe in Gods and deities and they aren't violent fundamentalists, I certainly see no harm in it. If religion gives them comfort then they can believe whatever they like.

  I sure hope so. I’m still young (in my 30s) and have lost some people this year. 2017 has been a bad year. I have high hopes I will see these family members again

I certainly hope so! I hope I see all my loved ones who have passed, people and animals! It wouldn't really be Heaven to me without cats and dogs.

    In a physical sense, it is impossible, regardless of your personal beliefs.
    
    I am living proof of this, as I am currently in an after-death experience.
    But I will die again, and after that event, I will never see again.

When you die, everything goes black and you cease to exist, for eternity. You never see your loved ones again and you will be forgotten when your kids and grandkids are dead.

You will not see them once you are dead, but you will once you are resurrected. The Bible speaks of a time when god will resurrect the dead and reunite them with their loved ones on a paradise earth. Then he will destroy death forever.

Nah, that belief would only make sense if you believe in souls, souls can't be proven to exist physically since they have no mass, so souls would have to be a wave, like gamma waves, Ultraviolet waves and all that... I don't see existing as a wave format to have any sort of scientific backing or religious backing though, since most people attribute sentience and intelligence to souls, since you'd actually have to experience through the soul. Which would (to the best of our knowledge) require a more physical form with a measurable mass... But when it comes to measuring the mass of souls, there's a problem in order to exist, it must have mass (unless it's a wave I think) Dead people don't lose mass, meaning nothing has left the body, meaning no soul has left the body, meaning nothing that exists has left the body... Meaning that souls cannot scientifically exist by those principles.

  Now that i think about it, the people seeing things during death could just be the brain hallucinating as it dies. The brain releases high doses of Dopamine when it dies (Neurotransmitter which plays massive role in rewarding the brain for actions through happiness) basically it's a happiness drug that your brain releases... one of the side effects are hallucinations when taken in high doses. So you can't really trust the testimonies.
