Where have you been?

Have you ever traveled on your own (not with your parents) outside of the country you were raised in--or spent the most time living in during your formative years?

Where would you want to travel to? Who or what would you want to see when you went? Any special plans?

Yes, many times. 21
Yes, but only once. 8
No, but I want to and plan to one day. 24
No, I have no desire to travel. 2

My dad strongly encouraged travel and exploration so we went lots of places. I remember a road trip of the original 13 colonies when I was little, I fell off a cliff. Oops. As an adult, I still enjoy getting out of my comfort zone and seeing how others live. It's a great way to learn about yourself.

I've explored much of the US, got lost in Europe, found myself caught in a snowstorm in Israel and had a snowball fight with the shop keepers. I learned what it felt like to have icicles in my eyelashes in NE Asia and was greatful for the hot tea offered to me.

All in all, people can be kind and generous, even when you don't speak the same language. It is much more difficult for me to travel these days but I would like to go to South America.

I'll steer it if you work the sails, lots'o'knots :)

Oh, and I want a parrot too. And an eye-patch, and an artificial hook-hand, and a musket revolver, and an extendable mono-scope. Yep, that will do it I think.

I have been to germany, canada, the united states, iran, russia, austrailia and lebanon. They were all beutiful but my favorites were Lebanon, Iran and russia. People misunderstand so much and think an entire country look like what the media shows. Its all beutiful and i recomend going to those countrys. Lebanon was especially beutiful.

I've been to Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Beligum. (From the US.)

The first four were all on a trip I took in high school, lots of fundraisers + my mom wanted to go to Europe so she chaperoned.

Dated someone who lived in Beligum for a while, got to go visit once. :3

I went to Canada my freshman year of high school for a band field trip. We played a concert at Niagara Falls.

I haven't left since then, but I have moved about the country for the first time in my life recently. I plan to move and travel more in the years to come. :)

Twice, both times with my school. I was always jealous of the kids that got to go on holiday in a different country every year :( Still am.

With them I've been to: a few of the states, the bahamas, toronto, quebec, london, paris and rome.
