Where is the best place to study as a communications major?

I know that people studying communications often get a bad rap (I mean, have you seen those message boards?) and are unfairly labelled as such. I'm not from the US, but I'd like to study here, and am wondering which is the best university to pursue my tertiary education there, in terms of safety, course accreditation and module and all those other stuff, and the campus environment.
