I feel most nostalgic for the 80s, and 90s, but I'm a Generation-X chick so that should be no surprise to anyone.
I have a weird sense of misplaced nostalgia (or maybe it's just fascination) for the '70s and '80s, despite not being born until the '90s. Perhaps it's because that's when my parents were around my age (though they don't speak of those times as if they were the best times ever; in fact, they say every era has its ups and downs, and I believe that), and perhaps it's because it has a novelty to it since I didn't get to experience it. I love the design, fashion, music/pop culture, cars, etc. from that era, though the good thing is that all of those things can still be enjoyed today (except for maybe the cars unless you're good at working on them; I am not, I just like the look and interior of the ones from those times, and it would be impractical to have one as a daily driver). I love the way houses and buildings were designed, as I love the more decorative styles and natural brick/stone/woodwork over today's minimalism and painted everything. TV and pop culture from those times make them look like the most wonderful times ever, but I'm sure that's because it's TV and that's all I've ever seen of it.
As far as times I've actually lived through, there are bits and pieces from all of it that I feel nostalgic about, but not really any time in particular. Though sometimes I'd love to step back in time to a certain moment in my life, I'm not sure there are any past eras I'd actually want to go back to. While I had fun, so many things have improved for me since then, and I wouldn't want to give up what I have now. I just try to enjoy what I can from every time in my life, while it's still here.
I barely remember the late '90s, and didn't really think anything was outstanding about the 2000's or 2010's, and it's too early to tell for the 2020's so far (though it's not off to the best start). Perhaps it's because I actually lived it and didn't only hear other people's stories that they were looking back on through rose colored glasses, or see it on TV.
90’s because we got out of the recession, I got a promotion and times were good.
2010s youtube was still a relatively minor thing. So many small youtubers you can get invested in. Not a lot of ads. Start up channels were great.
Yogscast minecraft was my bread and butter. Then their kickstarter yogventure imploded and lots of other childhood destroying money-grabbing
I guess the late 90's. My summers were spent riding bikes with my siblings and the other neighborhood kids. We'd trade Pokemon cards and play our Gameboy Colors, and sometimes we'd all pool our money together to get a large pizza. A large pizza was only 9 bucks back then. I order one now and it's well over 20 bucks. XD
We didn't have cell phones back then, so to figure out where someone was we had to track them down. It wasn't until like 2004 I started seeing more and more people with cell phones.
I think it will be the 2040's or perhaps the 2050's.
I think looking ahead is far more productive than looking behind in life...
90s even though I never was born on that decade nor have I experienced that decade.
But I feel somewhat a lot nostalgic about the late 2000s it was mostly because of school days.
