Which drug is worse?

More immediately dangerous to the user, heroin. It’s very easy to od on.

More immediately dangerous to everything else, meth. Makes people act like total retards.

Those are two drugs I said I'd never touch. Having done a lot of amphetamine based substances and a lot of opiates though (one half as strong as heroin) I would way rather be a smack head then addicted to meth. Meth would just destroy your mind. The physical shit from heroin you can come back from generally, all be it with scars to show, but you often can't fix the shattered mind that something like meth would give you.

Heroin withdrawals are 10x worse. But believe it or not is probably easier on your body than meth. Meth is terrible for your heart. Its a young mans drug. A pretty good portion of old people in America are on pain pills which are opioids just like heroin. This is why when the DEA started cracking down on pain pills heroin use skyrocketed. Because people were addicted to the pills when they banned them they went to heroin and realized its 10x cheaper.

If you take heroin orally everyday in moderate doses its fairly harmless if you dont skip doses. Meaning you can survive a lifetime on it. Im pretty sure its still prescribed in the UK as a pain medicine. It is bad for your colon and slightly bad for your liver but not as much as alcohol. It paralyzes your bowels to where you can not shit. You have to take a ton of laxatives.

Alright, let me tell you the actual answer to this question...

Ask anyone who is an addict, especially an addict who is addicted to both meth and heroin (like myself) or at the very least addicted to one or the other and they will tell you that being addicted to heroin is much worse than being addicted to meth. Don't get me wrong being addict to meth isn't easy. Being addicted to anything isn't easy. Heroin is however one of the few substances that cause a person to go through physical withdrawal when they go too long without it. It is not the worst in terms of physical withdrawal but it is not an easy thing to get through either. Luckily heroin withdrawal is far less likely to kill you than alcohol withdrawal or benzo withdrawal or methadone withdrawal. With the meth you basically come down and pass out and then just have to deal with the mental aspect of getting sober.

Now while I never taken either of these I going to say meth from a scientific stand point. Heroine is an opioid drug. We use opioid drugs as pain killers and people take them pretty often for various things. We have low level meds for pain like aspirin and than we have stronger things like morphine. Now Meth is a stimulant and while we have a lot of stimulants in society like coffee and soda for example, Meth is one of the strongest. Now while we have stimulants freely available many people still die from it. You see a stimulant is a heart attack waiting to happen. While opioids have the benefit of giving you a euphoric effect and kill pain. So I think you are more likely to die from a heart attack.

Depends what you mean by worse. In most important measures I would say crystal meth is worse.

Both are obviously terrible, but heroin can keep you looking younger while meth degrades your appearance by decades almost instantly.

I had a bf who proposed me heroin. I was 17 and I still do not know how I managed to refuse. I was so much into getting high at that time - drinking alcohol, smoking weed. But somehow I managed to refuse that. I do not know where my life would have been if I had taken that road.
