To be honest I like teams from all leagues. English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga. I enjoy Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona, Valencia, Milan, Juventus, and Dortmund. Teams that are very popular with huge fan bases but that I just don't like include Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Bayern.

Holy crap, there are so many soccer leagues. Why would you need so many? Here in America we have 32 first league football teams and 120 lower league college teams, but 6 times the population.

Manchester United fan from Birmingham. My Dad's from Manchester & made sure I followed United, but I'm fairly sure I would've supported them regardless. Growing up they had Cantona, Giggs, Scholes & Becks who were all brilliant, there wasn't and never will be an alternative for me.

Don't give a shit if people think I'm a gloryhunter, that's the type of shite you hear in school playgrounds, I cringe when I hear adults using that word. You don't get it in other sports either, only in Football do you hear "support your local team''...it's a load of shite.

I am actually from Manchester and don't support United. Nor City. I'm a Liverpool fan.

I don't follow a club passionately. When I was younger I used to follow my local side, Cheltenham Town - currently in League Two - and I saw games at Whaddon Road quite frequently. I've stopped being quite so interested in club football now, but I still consider myself a fan.

I'm a lot more interested in the international game still, though. When we have an international break every 2 years I can get really sucked into it all; I watched every Euro 2012 game even after England got knocked out.

Nice to know someone else does this. All my mates get bored by international football. I saw every Euro 2012 game too (best tournament in years). I love international competition. I watch all the friendlies too, plus the women's competition, and the women's friendlies.

Going to be tough watching all the Euro 2016 games, though. It's a 24 team competition rather than 16 so there'll be 51 games rather than 31. Means I might be booking time off work like I do for the group stages of the World Cup. Will be great to see smaller European teams competing for once, though. Go Iceland! Rar!

    Timbers!

But I don't really follow soccer (football) very much. I'm just glad to see so much local support for the team. I'd love to go to a game but they are often sold out and the tickets are kind of expensive.

Oh, and I will always cheer for my nephew's little league team.

ah, i was gonna say, if you we're in England you can get into a league 1 game for about 16 quid, and it would be a much better atmosphere and experience than you would get at a big club like Chelsea...

I don't really follow football and I don't follow a team. I only watch it when I'm in the mood. So that means when I watch a game, the two playing could be teams I don't really know anything about or I've never seen any of their other matches. Usually I'll choose the team I like most out of the two and then support them during the match, but that doesn't mean I'm a fan of that particular team. And just to show how dedicated I am to football, I'll admit that I usually base my temporary support/liking of a team on how much I like their strip (along with my general feeling towards the players and the place they're playing for).

The only team I feel any loyalty towards is Celtic. It doesn't matter who they're playing against because I'll always support them, which makes me a Celtic fan, I guess:).

Soccers for pussys. Only way id watch that is if they play by my added rules which are:

    1) The ball has to be set on fire.
    2) The goal keepers gloves have to be soaked in gasoline.

Two simple rule adjustments and id be a fan.

I'm not sure if your from England...

but football brings the world together, i have had roughly 6 interviews in my life, and the first question i have been asked in each one of them, is what team do i support Millions of people every saturday go to support there team, and there is no better fealing than celebrating a goal and chearing your team on in the terraces.

From your butt hurt comment, it is obvious that you were bullied at school, probably by popular people that played football. I truly pity you.
