    I know Mini is owned by BMW, but I would still consider it a British car. Would you consider a Dodge an Italian car since Chrysler is owned by Fiat now?

      I was thinking the same thing. Did you know that the company that makes London taxi cabs in now the largest British-owned car company? It's a faurly upsetting truth.

    I have driven many Audis and BMWs, but my hear lies with Mercedes!
    I say:

    I have owned a Porsche and Mercedes Benz. They're both totally different, I loved them both. I will say this, customer service for Merc Benz is way better than Porsche. Porsche has more snob appeal and most Porsche owners are assholes (except me :D).

    When you say "mini", do you mean the mini cooper?
    That's a cute car, but I thought those were British ?

    Mclaren is a english based compeny. It would be between porshe and mercedes though.

      Actually, Mclaren Is the High performance Exotic Division of BMW, created in the early 1990s. One of their earliest creations is the f1, a million dollar supercar (1994 Dollars) with a BMW Motorsports V12.

        No it isn't, BMW may have created the engine for the F1 but it in no way means that BMW own Mclaren. Mclaren and mercedes also co-produced the slr which in my eyes is one of the sexiest cars ever created.
