    I probably wouldn't want to mess with the past.

    John Lennon and Sharon Tate come to mind.

    But from your list, I think Abraham Lincoln. His ideology and stoicism has always made him an endearing historical figure to me.

    At first thought, I would stop the assassination of Saint Gottschalk.

    To be fair Ferdinand wouldnt do much of anything. Europe was a powder keg if it wasnt the assasination it would be something else.

        Nope. Ww1 was inevitable. Countries were naive to the carnage of what a world war actually meant. Dozens of countries hating eachother with extravagant alliances what could go wrong?

    I feel like the 2 american assassinations made virtually no real impact. So lets so my boy Franz and sacrifice a decent brit-pop rock band for a wacky alternate timeline

    • Why not Franz Ferdinand though? Prevent WW1 and WW2.

        Not saying I wouldnt prevent it but those wars made America the superpower it is today. Europe was destroyed but America came out virtually unscathed in comparison. We then started manufacturing for everyone because they couldnt do it themselves and we created Nato. Without WW1 and WW2 America may have never become such a superpower.

    That's tough because all 3 had tumultuous consequences but Kennedy had the most recent effects right up until today.

    • Franz Ferdinand being assassinated ---> WW1 ---> Communism gaining traction ---> Rise of Fascism/Nazism ---> WW2 ---> The cold war ---> America funding Al-Qaeda ---> 9/11 ---> Today

          Kennedy-->Lyndon Johnson-->Vietnam war-->Nixon/Watergate-->George Bush/2 wars-->4 goddamn years of anti-Orange Man legions burning to cities to the ground and violently attacking anyone they suspected may have considered ever voting for Orange Man at any point in history-->Donald Trump/gang of fucking retards who obviously never had a shot at a "coup". If there was a fucking coup in the last decade it was 4 years of "tRumP iS a RuSsIaN aGeNt AND nAzI!!!" without a single shred of evidence

          So please kindly insert a screwdriver into your rectum and shred vigorously

          I agree. The Kaiser was hot to make Germany a world power. The assassination was just used as a pretext.
