Old days. Our society in "these days" is just deplorable. Everyone's a bunch of pussies who are afraid to offend someone. I couldn't care less about offending someone. I really don't belong in this day and age :-P
It seems like if the "Occupy Wall Street" thing happened in the 60's, there would be a point and maybe some leadership.
I wish I was born in the "good old days". Yes, we are advancing with technology, etc, but our world is also becoming unsafe and just plain scary. Back in the day you didn't have to lock your doors, now I practically had padlocks on every hinge possible. -_-
I'm pretty happy with the times we currently live in. Then again I do have an awful lot of borrowed nostalgia for the unremembered 80's.
These days, obviously. Better life expectancy, better literacy rates, less deaths from childbirth, less disease. That's a lot more important than the simplicity of the "good old days".
It's hard to decide. Today, we have far better technology and better life expectancy, but the people are more arrogant, theres more restrictions, tougher laws and everything is more expensive.
the 80s were better, everyone is so caught up in their own agendas these days, it seemed as though everyone got along better back in those days and there were still factory jobs in America. Very cliquish in the 2010s and it seems as though everything is geared towards the upper middle class as well (there are very few shows on network tv these days that try to related to those living within their means and loving one another....its hard to find poor or lower middle class families that are proud of being middle class, something that was pretty common in the 80s.
Any days. As long as I'm gonna end up far away from the civilization. There are places on this planet that still live in "ancient" days.
I think it's all relative. For example: Our parents consider their time to be the best how ever our grandparents considered their time to be far better than our parents. Right now, we say the 90's, 80's, early part of the 2000's (what ever time you may have grown up in) were better, but chances are, the children who are growing up today are going to look back on this date, and they will say it is the better time. It is all relative and depends on what time you may have grown up in.
I'm only 18 so I don't really know much about the "old days" but I voted for the old days. I'm sick of what has been going on these days. I honestly think I'm living in a shitty generation. I hate almost everything about it.
After 1970 lawyers, politicians, and the rich destroyed our country. America is mortally wounded and people today have a dim future.
I like the old days like 1930s-80s so much... there were less pointless rules and not so much worry over political correctness, yet people were still more proper and respectful it seems... I like their fashion too. but of course comparing all that to the technology we have today makes it hard for me to decide...
