I am a girl, and I have a good friend who is a boy.
He believes boners are worse than periods.
I think periods are worse for many reasons, but I just need to know what other people think.

This just reminded me of a movie called ANTICHRIST with Willem Dafoe. In one scene after his wife goes off her meds she knocks him out by hitting him in the head. While he's out she makes a hole in his leg with a hand drill and bolts him to a grindstone to keep him from escaping. Then she smashes his balls with a piece of firewood. And the fact that I get nothing but pleasure when I have a boner? A period is totally opposite. This is website is ridiculous.. Is everyone 13? I'm genuinely disappointed.
Well you could get uncomfortable boners that are embaressing but they don't measure up to the things periods bring.
I don't think everyone here is 13. You'd be surprised the ages of a lot of users here. Hell, I'd say most users are between 23-35. You do get a kid or two on here though but most of the time the childish posts you'll see on here are from trolls.

Apart from the discomfort of periods, how about the financial cost? Sisters, ever added up the cost of pads, tampons, painkillers from teenage to menstruation?
I once tried to get a tax agent to include the cost of tampons as a deduction, on the basis that they were essential because without them I'd be walking around the office with blood running down my leg, but he wouldn't do it.
An early 70's Women's Liberation poster said "If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament" to which I'd add: "If men had periods, tampons and pads would be free"
Uh... boners can create pretty awkward situations but I think bleeding can do worse :|

I see it like this: if a dude has an accidental boner in public, he can probably do something to make it go away, or hide it.
Periods can come really late or really early and when they do, it can be unnoticeable to the girl that has it. Once it's there in that situation, there's no hiding that. People will see the red mess, she'll have to clean up, and hopefully she has some spare clothes that she can change into. I'm not a guy, so maybe I'm a bit off on this one. I'm just going by a situation that happened to me when I was 12. XD
Perhaps this friend needs a bit of education in what he is supposed to do with his boner, then maybe he won't feel that way. Though I must say, he does sound somewhat retarded, so any attempt to help him is probably a waste of time.

Obviously it's the menstrual cycle, boners go away after awhile usually, unless... you are extremely horny.
