Knots Berry Farm was the first theme park in the US. It is way more honorable than Disney.
It was a Berry farm and home of the boysenberry. And being in southern CA I doubt the laborers where white. Although I don't think many berries grow there now.
Knotts Berry Farm is a major amusement park in So Calif. that is pretty big and does have some nice roller coasters. A lot of people actually like Knotts better than Disneyland.
Busch Gardens in Virginia was the best theme park I've ever been to. I've only been to Disney Land (or world, I forget, the one in Florida). 6 Flags in Jersey and Florida, and, of course, Busch Gardens. Busch Gardens was by far the best.
Of the two mentioned, I enjoy both of them. But the two aren't comparable on the same level. It isn't like comparing apples to apples, etc. If the reader hasn't been to either, or just one of them, this can't be fully understood. And, yes, we're all aware of numerous others located throughout the country. But, the question had to do with just the two specified.
It was sad when Knotts took out their Kingdom of the Dinosaurs ride. That place is still awesome. The Chicken Dinner Restaurant is the best.
Though my all time favorite ride is Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland.

Knott's has a pretty misleading name, not that I object mind you.
I don't live in america and I've never been to america so this doesn't really work out for me cause I've never gone to disney and never heard of Knotts Berry Farm...
