Which planet would you live on?

If you had a choice to live on a different planet which would you choose? And why? (When it had human life) I would choose Mars because bacteria has been found on it. Water has too. There might be life on Mars one day.

Mercury 3
Venus 6
Mars 20
Jupiter 4
Saturn 7
Uranus 9
Neptune 10
A dwarf planet Pluto/ Ceres 10

Put me on a habitable planet on the other side of the galaxy and I'd be happy :)

      I second that.
Would be nice to visit other planets as a tourist, but I doubt I would like to live on it. Unless it's the blue alien chick planet from Mass Effect XD

I'm not sure why you chose a planet that has evidence of bacteria as a place to live. Especially if all could hypothetically support life. Although I do like mars a lot, but I think it would be an angry planet. It is named after the god of war.

None of the above. They can't support life.

You didn't specify how long lived the human life stayed on the planet. For all you know they could have suffocated within seconds.

he assumed that everyone would know that in the scenario, the planet has been made livable, and that humans can live safely there.

I don't want to live on any planet. Would you mind terribly if I drove the spaceship that took everyone else to the planets of their choice?

      You are correct!

The term 'planet', is derived from the Hellenic (Greek), 'astēr planētēs', which means 'wandering star'. The massenergy object, that we exist in, is not a star, nor does it wander. Any star would be inhospitable to human life (in very near proximity). It would be impossible to live 'on' a star, since stars are composed primarily of hydrogen and helium (and for an assortment of other reasons). The major extra-solar massenergy objects of this solar system, elliptically orbit the proximate star 'Sol', and do wobble somewhat (variably), due to gravitational effect from other proximate massenergy objects (mostly proximate natural satellites, such as the moon), but they do not wander.

Unfortunately, one does not drive a ship. One pilots, steers or helms a ship. Although ships do exist in space, since we all exist in space, I'm certain that this form of conveyance would be impractical beyond the atmosphere.

Please note: Stars do not wander, nor are stars fixed. Stars move predictably through space.

Awe, but the imagery of a wandering star is kind of poetic.

I've been thinking about Gilese 581 d. It is an extrasolar planet in the constellation of Libra that orbits the star Gilese 581. It is approximately 20 light years away from us. It is currently not 100% confirmed to be in the habitable zone and therefore capable of supporting life, but it is believed to contain a large ocean and is much more massive in size compared to that of earth.
