1/6 is only a scandal to the left-wing political strategists that disguise themselves as journalists and the under-brained types that follow them
Jan 6th wasn’t a scandal. It was an attempted coup on our country. The other 2 were scandals.
How about the joe biden burisma scandal? How is that corruption for a sitting president to look into the corruption of a prior vice president dispite him not even running for presidency at the time?
That's the biggest scandal of my time. Jan 6 was just a riot, like many for the entire summer that year.
Shit anyone with an elementary grade knowledge of how the goverment works knew that shit wouldnt work. Only people who thought that shit would work were idiots, or random people who waltzed into open doors to an already public building. You punch a cop and sure slap the offender in jail. Dont throw them in solitary for a year then sentence them. That just looks fascistic as fuck to the rest of us.
Watergate was bigger just because Nixon stepped down over it (even tho he was actually a good president) The Lewinsky thing was a joke. And the January 6th thing is totally overblown because no one can find a clip from Trumps speech where he even insinuated to attack the capital. Infact he sends out texts to everyone on his list on hia site and he said like 5 times before the day that everyone should remain peaceful.
You obviously do not watch a whole variety of news sources. That Trump speech segment video clip is well known and often shown. I saw it within the last 4 days.
President Trump also delayed by a considerable amount of time - despite urging of his staff to send out the text message that he did to be peaceful. Essentially, he sent it after the worst of January 6 was over.
Sorry about your Trump Derangement Syndrome. I bet he spends a lot of time in your head.
Nope. I don't worry or pay much attention to him at all. I've viewed him as a con-man since before he won the 2016 election.
The country and the world has ways of dealing with con-men; and I believe his rope and luck will run out.
The real problem is that people who have been conned often fight accepting that because they do not wish to admit that they were that gullible (lots of history on that across the centuries). They are more likely to dig in and defend the con-man first... up to some truly major crises that has no other possible explanation (which never comes for some).
A bunch of morons literally stormed the capital building under the direction of the President. That tops the other two by a mile.
What did he actually say though? Come to the capital to peacefully protest. Hell when they broke in he was still talking. Trumps a charismatic leader that talks above the table. If he wanted people to fucking invade he would of said so.
Biden doing his big speech saying that 70 million people are radicals treating democracy does not put him in a better light than trump. He looks WAY worse.
Holy Christ, I can't believe people are that fucking stupid. As long as you say something loudly and angrily enough, all the dumb fucks automatically accept it as fact, despite the original Tweet saying "go home in peace"
Never have kids, dumbass
I wasn't there for Watergate so I don't really know how big it was. In terms of how big it SHOULD have been regarded, Jan. 6th is the obvious answer.
However, in terms how big it was ACTUALLY regarded, the other two were way bigger. I voted Lewinsky just because I saw how serious that was taken. Ain't no president steppin' down or gettin' impeached over Jan. 6th. Trump hasn't even been barred from a second term.
Wasnt even an insurrection. Shit anyone who knows dick about how elections works. Knew it wouldnt of worked.
That was a big crybaby performance.
Certainly better than the 100+ day siege of a federal courthouse lobbing molotiovs and fireworks.
It doesn't matter whether it was an insurrection. It was a riot at the fucking capitol building for the express purpose of protesting an election, spurred on by direct efforts to overturn that election (everyone focuses on what Trump was doing during Jan 6th, like he didn't already have tons of lawsuits filed in every state he didn't win). Simply calling it a crybaby performance is downplaying the purpose of that event. They were there for a reason, and we can't afford to have this kind of escalation every 4 years.
