Which school should i choose?

So yeah..I study at this premier school where only certain people can enter which gets straight A's. But this school is so tiring, i spend 10 hours everyday there sometimes i don't eat my lunch to get my school tasks done. This school is cool but I think it's not suitable for me. Friends at my current school are nice and hardworking though. And I was thinking about moving into another school next term. But this school is just an ordinary one. The only good thing about it, i can get home early and i won't miss to study and get enough rest. I tell my friends that I'm moving, and they are like please don't, i'm afraid you'll change due to the people's behavior there. I know what they mean as the ordinary school is well known with its students with bad attitude, i even heard about the students hit their own teacher, bully the other kids, etc. But I believe not all of them are bad kids, I have a lot of friends studying there and they are extremely nice. And what should i do? Stay or leave?

Just try to tough it out and get the best education u can, even if it sucks cause #1,school doesn't last forever and looking back u can be proud you finish such a difficult program. Also it looks good on a resume, show ur a dedicated worker, etc.

PS, get ur schooling done now, cause its a bitch to try to go back later in life

This really should have been a poll not a story. Now to your question. I would say stay at whatever school gives you a proper education. That is really all that matters. Friends come and go but they are not forever. Make sure you get good grades so you can get into a good university. I was at a school where I was excelling and my parents moved. I did not do great at the new school and it always depressed me knowing I could have done better and maybe have gotten free college/uni but I didnt. Stay with whatever school gives a good education.

Its not the school that gives you the "proper education" anymore . because honestly , they are reinforced to teach the same things.. Its the people in them which give the school a title . Just think about it , only people with straight A's could get into it? No wonder test scores are so high , only smart people are allowed in , honestly they teach the same thing no matter what. What i believe is to choose which school makes you the happiest because honestly they reinforce the same standard , lessons , and education. Good luck. :)

It may seem like you are wasting your time, however if you are able to succeed and get through the courses with decent grades, you will have a chance of getting into a good college that will enable you to do better than serving "Starbucks" to customers the rest of your life. (Not saying that "Starbucks" is not respected) but if you can do better.....(you know what your capabilities are) you could make a very good living just by staying in the school you are in because it may have a better "launching pad" to college and beyond. Good Luck friend.

If English is your language, it doesn't seem you've learned to communicate in it very well at this "premier school".
Maybe you'll get more from the other school?
As for friends, that seems to be a reoccurring theme here on IIN, but it makes no sense to me if you are in school for an education, to worry about friends. Make your education your priority unless you are just in school to party, and if you are, then go to a party school; there are plenty of those.

I think it's better to move to the ordinary school. The level of education may be a little lower over there, but then at least you're not strugling to keep up. You should pick the level of education that suits you, wich does not always have to be the highest.

About friends, I'm sure you'll make new friends in your new school in a matter of time. Be aware that ordinary schools can be a bit more rough sometimes, don't expect everybody to be as disciplined as they are on your current school. But then again, that makes you rough as well wich will be a benefit later in life. Just think, if I can take this I can take everything!
