Awww, Miss Peel, I thought you'd deserted me. Very nice to see your presence here again. As for Man U, worst football team in recorded history. Devious, ugly, clueless, arrogant pieces of utter crap. They can rot in hell for all I care. And I say that living walking distance from the ground. They're an awful excuse for a football team.

I've been a Liverpool fan since the age of about five. I'm pre-programmed to hate United. Even moreso because it's very difficult being a Liverpool fan who lives in Manchester. Got a soft spot for the magpies, though (even if they are above us in the league. Grr!) :)

...actually, if you really want to give credit for the one screwing up the Cowboys...you need to look no further than their asinine owner, Jerry Jones, who can't keep his putrid mitts off anything...They haven't been more than an average yeam for over 15 years now, and he replaced Ryan )a fairly decent defensive coach...he went to New Orleans and helped solidify a poor defense to now an average one...a marked improvement) with Kiffin (who promptly put an average Cowboy defense into one of the worst...as a Bear fan, Jake McCown, backup QB, shredded the Cowboys to the tune of 45 points). As long as Jones is owner and believes that he should dictate all of the Cowboys' day to day operations personally, the Cowboys should remain mediocre.

...I can't stand the Lakers, since even now, when they are not a good team, they still garner over 50% of the national media attention...I hope they will get Carmelo Anthony...that whould set their chances of getting another chance of an NBA title several more years, since he is no team player, and is terrible within a team concept...Just with him and Kobe, there will not be enough basketballs on the court to feed both their needs. I can't stand the Cowboys for much the same reason...too much press for a team not going anywhere...oh, well, they have Jerry Jones as their owner...they won't go anywhere for years to come...I'm not real big on the Heat, but more because so-called "experts" call them a "dynasty"...REALLY!??...for WHAT??...They have won 2 consecutive titles...Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, and (I believe, though I'm not sure) San Antonio have done this (oops, I forgot Detroit)...Frankly, the Bulls (who won 6 out of 8, and may have won 8 in a row if MJ hadn't decided to try his ill-fated hand at baseball), the Celtics (who won 8 in a row, and 9 out of 10), and the Lakers, who, even they never won more than 2 in a row...they were nearly always a contender in the years they didn't win, and won, I believe, 5 out of 8 years during the 80;s. Detroit, had they not had injuries to 4 of their 5 starters against the Lakers in the championship series, could have easily won 3 straight, were much more of "dynasties" than is Miami, who should have lost to San Antonio last year. If that would have happened, they would have been another 1 year winner...Anyone remember Golden State, Portland, Washington (Bullets then, now Wizards), Seattle (the Supersonics for you younger fans...I believe they are the franchise that moved to Oklahoma City), New York, Milwaukee, Saint Louis (now Atlanta Hawks), and the Rochester Royals (now the Sacramento Kings) as well as the Chicago Stags (now defunct) have all done this...nothing eye opening...I think that the Heat are getting all the media hype since they are looking for stories so hard they are looking to create and blow up something that is not all that amazing as though it were...

This is the second time I get to make a negative statement about the Yankee's tonight! This is a good night!

Yankees suck. They remind me of people who have a lot of money and think everyone else owes them everything and they should just be handed whatever they want.

    Also.. Go Pats!

...I'm not much on any of the teams you mention, but the Cowboys are the only team I actually HATE...with a passion...thankfully, Jerry Jones is their owner...therefore, since he is too stupid to see that he is their biggest problem, and will not let anyone do the job they should be doing...they will continue to be mediocre for years to come...

The Yankees may be fun to hate, but for me, the Cowboys and their "America's Team" nonsense just makes me want to puke. On the other hand, I have so enjoyed their December collapses over the past few years that I'm almost developing a perverse affection for the team just because they're good for so many laughs.

You didn't list the Atlanta Falcons, but I loathe them even more than the Cowboys. Watching Matt Ryan's noodle arm blow it in the final minutes of the NFC Championship Game warmed my heart.

Also, you really should've added Nosuch Dame -- err, I mean Notre Dame to the list. It was joyous seeing an SEC team give them the pounding they deserved.

Athlete...I can't stand any team that constantly gets so much national media attention that you almost cannot get attention focused on other teams...that's why I can't stand the Cowboys (thank goodness they have Jerry Jones...the Raiders used to have Al Davis as their owner, and he used to have a sign that read "Commitment to Excellence"...in Jerry's case, it should read, "Commitment to Mediocrity"...as long as he continues his consistent meddling with day to day operations, they should remain a moot point...). I probably dislike the Lakers even more, since even now they get over 50% of the NBA media attention, even though they are a poor team...I'm not big on the Yankees, since I don't like the idea of getting the best team money can buy without having other teams being able to compete financially. This is due to a rule that Bowie Kuhn put into place to put Charlie Finley, who wanted to sell 3 key players on the A's before they went free agent...the other owners wanted him out, and they put in the rule that you could not sell players for money...therefore largely permanently giving power to the teams with financially well-off ownership...

You know where you can take your Flakers...the BEST??...hardly...yet they get about 80% of the media attention even when they really are an average (at this point, not even an average team)...There are 30 teams in the NBA, yet you barely hear about any of them outside of LA (though I do like the Clippers), Miami (deserved...even though I don't particularly like them, they deserve media attention), Indiana (deserved), New York (another disaster of a team), San Antonio (deserved...one of the best NBA teams for years, yet often overlooked), Oklahoma City (deserved), or Chicago...I'm also sick of all the media pandering over the Convicts (oops, Cowboys)...It used to be that Al Davis, former owner of the Raiders, had a sign that read "Commitment to Excellence"...in Jerry Jones's case, it should read, "Commitment to Mediocrity"...since the last Super Bowl, the Cowpokes are almost exactly .500...It will be fun to see the Flakes out of the playoffs this year...then we will hear about all 16 teams who will be in it...Hating on the best...how about yours on the Celts...more titles than any team in the NBA (16)...I'm not sure about the Celts-Lakes rivalry being the best, but if not, it is certainly up there...

But the fact that he went on National tv for an hour long special to dump the city that was pretty great to him was a pussy move.
