None. Foreign people get sick if they consume tap water here. I just drink it and wish for the best.
Technically I only *have* Brita. I'm too lazy to refill it so I always end up drinking from the tap
I am very fortunate in that tap water is safe to drink here. It was safe to drink in the country where I grew up, too.
This thread has reminded me of how much single-use plastic must be produced, used and discarded just because tap water isn't drinkable in so many countries. I've been on holiday in places where water could only be bought in bottles. The number of plastic bottles we disposed of was crazy.
What's to be done? Not only does plastic require oil to produce and pollute oceans and fill up landfills when it's discarded; it takes energy to recycle too. Even water filters wear out and end up in landfill.
At the other extreme, I know people who have grown up having to collect water every day from a well in cannisters.
Can't there be a less resource-intensive, polluting middle ground?
I get well water. Though its filtered through a water softener system so I guess the water softener?
Just good ol tap. I tried brita before wasn't terrible not tge best though
I buy water bottles and gallons. Usually great value because Ive heard they dont add high amounts of flouride like other waters.
