Mankind is the biggest threat to the welfare of mankind, and will become increasingly so.
The Middle East? Wow, if this isn't a racist poll... It's not the middle east that can cause anything, but it is a certain group of people located in the middle east... perhaps you meant some kind of radical extremist group such as Al-Qaeda or the Taliban... these are the definition of terrorist, not the whole middle east. Get your shit straight
By the Middle East I was referring to the rather obvious instability of relations between countries such as Iran and Israel both of whom are nuclear capable and who could not only, potentially upset global economy but also insight a war that forces the western world to intervene before it spreads.
I made a direct option for Al qaeda.
These are not my opinions I wanted the peoples opinion. I personally think America is the biggest Antagonist in this world and if they keep poking the hornets nest they will get stunned.

If it isn't religion then it will be China will take over the world or the world being overpopulated. Or we will run out of oil and most of us will die and very few lucky people will survive?
I noticed that rising sea levels didn't get any mention. Since much of the world's agricultural lands are in low altitude places, the thought of these areas being overrun with salt water will be disastrous! Add to the fact that the world's population is continuing to rise at the same time!
Switching from non-renewable to renewable resources. Money, land, politics and political relationships, environmentalism, religion, and more play a role. It's going to be a rumble.
