Who is your favorite assassin's creed character?

I like Altair. I don't know why, we never got to see him develop as much as the other characters, but he just seems like the "core" character, if that makes sense. That when you think of the Assassin's Creed, he is the one that you think about.
I do think he is more skilled than the other Assassins, just didn't get as much of the cool CGI videos of him doing as much.

Other than him, I like the idea of the "Ultimate Templar weapon", you know, the one you see in videos from first person view from the multiplayer in revelations (or Brotherhood, can't remember)?
I personally think he will be the next character you play as since Desmond's departure, for a few reasons:
1) It is said that you will be playing a Templar for when you are in modern day gameplay.
2) Like the revelation cutscenes of the ultimate Templar weapon, you see the video from first person view of the Ultimate Templar weapon. That mixed with that apparently the modern day gameplay/story will be played first person, I think it kind of matches up, atleast I hope it does.
