Brazil, their one of the top teams on the planet, some would say "The" top team, for a team of that stature to play on their home turf and not win would be rather sad.

Only because of more Hispanic immigrants. Among the other races, not so much. Maybe up 5% in the past 50 years.

haha as someone once told me
"Americans will never get behind a game where a single goal in an entire game is cause for celebration"

How many more goals would they have if the offside rule were eliminated? If the other team is able to get offside on you then they deserve a shot on goal.

    • I put the list roughly according to rankings and recent performances. So if every team plays as expected they should finish in the order I listed them. Brazil is already in the top 3 no matter what and having home field advantage may be enough for them to win.

Ahh I forgot to add Portugal, they have never won anything but they have an outside chance as long as all his teammates keep passing the ball to Cristiano Ronaldo :>

You can still edit and add Portugal!

Well, OP, apparently soccer is not the most popular sport around here but, personally, I like you poll very much. So I'll give you my take on what I'd find the most interesting outcome. I think it'd be only fair if the inverted result of the 1998 Cup for winner/runner-up were to take place. hehe
