Why are christians such dorks?

I'm sure that there are plenty of exceptions, but I've noticed multiple times that Christians (while most often being quite nice) tend to be total goddamn dorks. They tend to be boring and prudish as shit. I think that their prudishness can be explained by the fact that the Bible has some very bizarre and repressed views on sexuality, especially female sexuality. Your thoughts?

    As long as they're not hurting anyone else or encouraging others to hurt anyone else, they can be as goofy and as big of dorks as they want

    I'm not sure that you have met any "real" christians. Most the people claiming to be one don't have a clue what the Bible actually says and their actions and behaviors reflect that.

    They twisted Jesus’ message so much that now many of them preach hate instead of love. And it’s all about money and power, which is exactly what Jesus said don’t matter. And the antisex stuff is pure hypocrisy.

      they didnt understand disease transmission when it was wrote which led to all kindsa superstition about loose sexual practices

      just as they didnt understand safe food handlin practices therefore a portion of the worlds population missin out on delicious delicious pork

        The taboo against pork isn't about safe food handling. Pigs were already seen as unclean animals and so were given slop to eat and they never cleaned their pens. So the pigs ate garbage and lived in filth, as any animal will do. Modern pigs are raised in clean environments and fed well. There's reallh no food issues with them.

    They should accept mutilating children's genitals, it's what's trendy now. All the cool soccer moms are doing it. That and teaching kindergartners how to masterbate (the ones who still have their genitals).
