Why are mexicans so poor in general?

Like this is not even a me being racist. It seems to be a common trend and I am a poor Mexican who has lived in several ghetto cities. I also lived in rich cities. You know what I noticed? The poor city's tend to have a large majority of blacks and Hispanics and Asians. While the richer cities tend to have more white people but sometimes a small percentage of Hispanics if any. Than we have LA which has little china and small pockets with exclusively Asians but I not sure that's a poverty thing. What funny is its a reputation that Mexicans are hard working but most of us are trapped in poverty. Why is this?

I'm not sure of this is a good answer, but I'm Hispanic and live in a ghetto area full of mostly Hispanics. Most of the people here are poor because they're uneducated and don't seem to know where to go for help(the schools here suck). They wind up popping out a few kids, which drives them into deeper poverty. The kids wind up growing up into poor, sometimes uneducated adults.

It also doesn't help that the rent and mortgage prices here are expensive because the town is close to the water. Average rent in this shit hole of a town is 1,200-1,700 dollars a month. Only way anyone can get by here is if they team up with someone else. I've seen towns in other parts of the US that were nicer. They had prettier houses, the streets weren't riddled with potholes, and the rent was half as much as what it costs to live here.

Education. its a cycle. grow up in a shitty part of town with shitty schools and you most likely will stay poor. hard work will only get you so far. gotta work smarter not harder. same with white people who grow up in a trailer park in West Virginia.

There are a few reasons. Firstly, Mexicans are immigrants from a relatively low GDP country compared to America, and thus they come from a poorer background, often with less education. There's also the difference in IQs between different ethnicities. Hence why, in America, blacks do the worst, latinos next, then Caucasians, then Asians then Ashkenazi Jews.

I notice Asians to be more in the rich part of the city. Theyre the highest income earners in the USA. I have never seen an asian in the hood or trailer park. But I live in tbe south.

I notice hispanics live mostly in the ghettos. I use to live in the hispanic part of my city and noticed a lot of mexicans would live in the same house. I also worked construction with many of them they were all admitted illegals. Im not exaturating they would work like 17 hours a day and would constantly check craigslist for another gig to work. My experience with them is they were all nice people. They'd feed my dog tacos and offer me a beer everytime I went outside.

In general; how well a group does depends on their Social & Economic upbringing. Many Asians do not come from good economic backgrounds - and their social culture emphasizes education and support of family as the way to get ahead; which allows them to rapidly progress economically when given opportunities.

Many cultures from south of the US border to well into South America do not emphasize education (just basics - you don't actually need a college degree to get ahead); which makes it harder for those people to break free even when provided with opportunities.

Look around the world. Look where everyone is really taught reading, arithmetic, writing, and the ability to think... and you will find cultures that flourish when they have the resources and opportunities.
